This movie feels like it's either gonna be an absolute disgrace to the people who grew up with the books/show while gaining a cult following in like 10 years, or be absolutely decent. Either way, I'm curious. The vibe I'm getting from the trailer is that it's not trying to make people (adults) who grew up with the source material happy, but just be a decent source of entertainment for thr current generation of children. Hopefully it gets kids into the original stuff, because Harold and the Purple Crayon is amazing.
