I am avid listener of jazz. And I find that for most people jazz is only a fast swing hard to catch the melody and the whole section of the improvisation. But jazz comes in a lot of variety forms and taste and riythms. E.g. Bossa jazz, soul jazz, Caribbean, Latin, African of course Swing. It's the most creative and vast music ever created in the world. It's main roots being the USA now its world wide. No other meaningfull form of art has replaced it and don't try to figure it out just listen listen listen to it when you are driving, cooking lying in bed or simply chatting with friends and the room will be full of harmony. That's why I love jazz.

Harold maburn is known for more jazz and music with great musicians but I use to enjoy him at Augis with Eric Alexander -Joe Farnsworth quintet. Very simple and gentle man. They gave me unforgettable memories.

This is good version but Lee Morgan's take on R/S is scorching.
