I remember what it felt like to be mystified by levers! Especially changing them in the middle of a song! I hope this arrangement gives you a friendly opportunity to try out this technique! Have fun!

Very nicely done! Just watching you play helps me to be mindful of performing with artful motion since graceful motion adds so much when playing harp, making it visually pleasing as well.

Thank you Michelle, for me the movement is breath and phrasing.

A lovely arrangement, Anne, and you play it with such feeling and so soothingly. Since I am a harpteacher myself I find it very interesting and inspiring to watch other teachers. I really like your calm yet precice explanations and the way you encourage all the way through your lesson. Most of all I enjoy that you do not only show and describe the technical aspects of the piece but also the musical background, in this case the reason for the fs and f#s. That little glimpse into music theory really makes one feel confident and I find it very exciting to get a look "beyond the curtain". Thank you for not just sharing your music but also for sharing your teaching talents! Greetings, Theresa

Another very beautiful arrangement, Anne! And thanks for the tips about raising levers; this is a great piece for practicing that. I also love how you combined the Mixolydian mode and the key of G Major!

Amelia Gerlach The first piece I played with lever changes was so hard that I totally missed that they could be fun instead of stressful!

Beautiful arrangement with your teachable moment! Does that go a bit too low for a Harpsicle?
