Veni Creator Spiritus - Gregorian chant

The "Veni creator spiritus" is a 9th century Latin hymn attributed to the Benedictine monk St. Rabanus Maurus.
It is used as a hymn for the Vespers of Pentecost, as well as for the Octave of Pentecost, where it is still celebrated.
Since the 11th century at the latest, the Veni Creator Spiritus has also been sung at synods, ordinations and conclaves.
Come, Holy Ghost, Creator, come
from thy bright heav'nly throne;
come, take possession of our souls,
and make them all thine own.
Thou who art called the Paraclete,
best gift of God above,
the living spring, the living fire,

Veni Creator Spiritus was sung during my priestly ordination on 18 May 1988. It was sung during the laying of hands by the Bishop and priest. I listen to this hymn every other day tears flows from my eyes. The Holy Spirit strengthened me and made me serve as His priest for 33 years.

Bueno,a mi me hizo un milagro las alabanzas a la Santisima Trinidad que canta tambien Harpa Dei.Tenia problemas economicos y pero ahora siento alegria constante y paciencia en los problemas y una firme confianza en Dios que todo lo puede. Esta invocacion al Espiritu Santo es hermosa voy a empezar a hacerla todos los dias de mañana.las alabanzas las hago despues de las 12 de la noche cuando todo esta tranquilo.
