This is evident in that we have not seen these kinds of numbers of specific types of immigrants with respect to needed skills, government subsidy programs and impacts on our social programs. Immigration under almost all governments has been done based on needed manpower where none was available among the citizens for the benefit of the nation. Consideration was also given to proper vetting, impacts on programs, ability to house new arrivals and not allowing misuse of student programs to potentially fast track people to citizenship when they are not needed for the reasons mentioned already. Right now, tax payers are subsidizing many companies that hire foreign workers, the social programs are burdened and housing is in serious trouble, now, we are starting to see the unemployment rate climb. If they were necessary, none of this should be the case.
