I read a couple of years ago that places like Prince George were bussing them to the island because it was warmer there to live on the streets and they didn't have to look after them. The federal government has ballooned by 40% in the last two years, while the use of outside contractors has also skyrocketed. Services haven't improved. This is a significant portion of the budget that could be cut. Then, the money being sent out of Canada - reduce that by half and you would see big savings. If they cut the duplicate programs that the Libs promised would out help families, but most don't qualify for, service is not available and/or already exist provincially, that would save billions. Finally, stopping the corruption, embezzlement, Trudeaus lavish vacations, over paying for products/services ($68 mill is a lot to pay for an app, especially one that doesn't work) should help a lot, and no services have needed to be cut. Don't buy into the BS, there are lots of ways to reduce expenses without sacrificing programs.

As a realtor, I believe there are real improvements that can be made in our democracy. Just as in any business, where employees can lose their jobs for incompetence or misconduct, politicians should be held to the same standard. If they fail to keep their promises or are involved in scandals, they should step down, and new leaders should be elected.
