What kind of example is that leading for the younger generation who look up to these people? Deepika's style is actually very very basic and traditional and nothing experimental, yet she thinks people copy her. The slick middle parted hair is a hairstyle that women did in olden times with sarees in India, the red lip and winged eyeliner is the most classic look which people have been doing like since forever (origin perhaps in Mesopotamia, then popular in France in the middle ages, and Hollywood retro later on), when it was done on deepika it was to give her a retro look because the story in om shanti om was based in a certain decade. Her ethnic clothes are just traditional typical Indian Textile like banarasi, zardozi, gota patti etc. After padmawat she started thinking she invented or made popular the whole Rajasthan rajputi style like girl you didn't I'm a rajput and we've been doing it for centuries now and people who aren't Rajputs have been embracing that for centuries too so no you didnt invent it. Your style is just the style of every Indian woman ever, nothing special or unique about it. To people outside india its new doesn't mean you invented all that thats like saying you invented indian culture and traditional clothing and jewelry. Get over yourself. You're delusional.

She didn't sound like a minimalist to me cause I have seen pictures of her usually with heavy embroidered dresses and jewelries, heavy makeup, and as she said red lips with overpainted brows and her makeup up artist said she does her brows excellently?!! but her minimal makeup looks better of course and I agree with her about natural skin, I'm a minimalist myself and I hate high coverage foundations. Though red lips are not anyone's signature! You can't say someone with minimal simple makeup and red lips copied some one's signature, cause every girl has one red lipstick at least in her makeup bag!
