Sadly life is very far from fair. It is really important and necessary in this life to take advantage of every connection and opportunity and put ourselves out there (scary) and try create opportunities. It would be strange and a bad idea not to. Obviously connections help. However without real ability those connections only take people so far.

Yep - she's gorgeous but it's not hard to figure out that she has a privileged background just like 95% of actors these days.

Dance has been my passion since I was about five years old. Now I’m 20 yrs. old in college and still don’t know what to do. I’ve been thinking about being a graphic designer, a fashion design or a even dancer. I’m more of an arts person. But I’m really really struggling and it’s hard for me to pick a career of what I want to do.
@manonrp38644 жыл бұрын
You already know that art is what makes you happy, that's a good start! Don't worry too much about it, I know college is a period of time when everyone seem to be focused on their future so it's a lot of pressure when you don't know where you're going. Remember that we are part of a generation of people who probably won't follow the same career path their whole life so it leaves you with endless possibilities and the right to make mistakes!

Hello! I saw your post and wanted to say that I understand you. I'm 24 and I'm still figuring things out. The Arts have always been something that fills me, specially literature, but I didn't know what to do with it, because, you know, everybody always says that you should choose a conventional career path, or whatever. And I tried, I studied business for a couple of years and I had great marks, but I was utterly miserable. I dropped out (which is okay and nothing to be ashamed of, we're allowed to make mistakes, change, and take new paths), and I'm currently in my first year studying English Philology. I'm happier than I ever thought I could be. People ask me "what are you going to do with that?".. and I'm like.. dude.. I'm ENJOYING myself, learning about what I love and I'm discovering more about myself. I'm learning who I really am, and not who I thought I had to be. WE'RE YOUNG, WE CAN DO A LOT OF THINGS, DON'T LET CONVENTION STOP YOU FROM THE THINGS YOU LOVE! Always think of your happiness and don't put pressure on yourself for not having things figured out. I wish you success and happiness
