Blake captures the Essence of the Met gala because she stays true to the theme and her outfit is extravangant like a Met outfit is supposed to be but still she manages to be pretty and elegant looking. I feel like either celebs are dressed in ridiculous ugly looking costumes or they are underdressed for the Met, playing it safe and too "pretty". Blake nailed this!!

Exactly, looks like a dress a 15 year old could wear. Models and their "simplicity" always goes wrong in these events. People like Elizabeth Taylor and Princess Diana could wear the most simple - one colored dresses and were the most elegant ladies in the room. This because the fabric spoke for itself, the fitting was precise and let's not forget gracious women make everything look elegant.
