@HarpTwinsHappenings7 жыл бұрын
MrVladteples ~ Thank you so much! It means a lot because we do everything ourselves for our videos from concept to completion! We arrange the music, find/scout the video locations, find or make our costumes, film with a small hand-held video camera on a tripod - No videographer, backtrack, loops, harp overlays, director, crew, videographer, or production people. We are based in Chicago but travel where we are hired to play. We have no budget to hire anyone for anything so we try to film ourselves while we are traveling (via minivan) for performances. We usually have very limited time (a couple of hours) to film ourselves and stay on our travel, work, performance schedule. We do not make our living on YT. Our 92 music videos are a gift from our hearts for our fans... and now this channel, too. :) :) x2

David Hopson ~ Thank you for your interest! As we already posted, we keep track of suggestions from our subscribers and try to cover the most requested songs and artists. We post a new video each month on our main music video channel Camille and Kennerly ( kzbin.infovideos ) as we are able to fit them into our travel, performance, rehearsal, and now originals schedule. We do not make our living on KZbin, we are a harp duo in our "real" lives, so our vids are a free gift from our hearts for our community. We use this second channel Harp Twins Happenings ( kzbin.infovideos ) when we have time to post bonus material. ;) ;) Our videos are completely self-made samples of the music that we perform live - No backing track, no Karaoke, no loops, no harp overlays, no director, no crew, no videographer, No production people. We arrange the music, find/scout the video locations, find or make our costumes, etc. We used to film with a small hand-held video camera on a tripod. For the last 1.9 years we have used our phone, held by our Mom, after our camera broke (here). If you are not already subscribed, please consider the encouragement of a sub to both channels. Thank you! Sending love and blessings, x2

Old pro tip for windy or shooting on a moving platform, take a gear bag and "hang it" under the tripod with the weight on the ground. The rope/tie/bungie needs to be almost lifting the weight. It will stabilize the pod and make it VERY difficult to tip it over. Many of the Iphone/pad cameras are very good. I've even seen people set up a high def web cam or two and a laptop and shoot 2 angles at a time.
@HarpTwinsHappenings7 жыл бұрын
Blazer02LS ~ Thank you for the tips and insight. We definitely need to keep this from happening again... and still be able to schlep everything ourselves along with our big, delicate, and awkward harps, costumes, etc. to our locations. Who needs a gym for exercise when toting harps?? ;) ;) lol x2
@Blazer02LS7 жыл бұрын
I did a lot of photography with film and huge lenses at events. The last thing I wanted to see was a 1200-1700 mm lens and camera on the ground. The lens alone was 35 pounds. I rented it by the day as $63,000.00 was a bit more than my wallet held at the time. I learned a lot about camera and lens stabilization to avoid going broke.
