Harrell Engine & Dyno's 2,500+ HP Turbocharged 448 cid Billet LS Engine

We all know Pete Harrell of Harrell Engine & Dyno in Mooresville, NC is real good at doin’ stuff, like building high-horsepower, forced induction engines. Earlier this summer, we stopped by HED for a tour and to talk to Pete about some of the current builds he had going on. One of the engines nearing completion was this awesome 448 cubic inch billet LS engine for Limited Drag Radial. Too many missed opportunities for questions. Is this a 4.155" Bore x 4.125" Stroke Combo ? perhaps a 4.095" Bore x 4.250" Stroke combo ? , is it a Standard or Tall Deck Height Block ? Did they go Tall Deck so that they could both run enough Rod and a thick enough Piston, without the Pin being in the ring lands and needing a support rail etc ? What RPM are they turning ? Roller Bearings or Babbitt Bearing Camshaft ? 55mm LS or upgraded 60mm Camshaft for stability ? Standard or Raised Camshaft ? While I am sure Greg Jones is a nice enough guy, he doesn't seem too keen to ask any real questions that would pertain to the Engines that he is calling the 'Engine of the Week'..... Just call this video series 'Builder of the Week' and move on, as there is next to NO information about the actual engines featured here. Sorry/Not Sorry.
