Retirement is now more difficult than it was in the past. it's all about balancing your risk tolerance with your long-term goals. Maybe consider speaking to an advisor to help in diversifying your portfolio to spread out the risk

Both have their perks but you can also save for retirement outside of a retirement plan, such as in an individual invstment account or employing the services of a retirement planner/investment advsr

The $25K down payment assistance isn't addressing the real problem - affordability due to supply. Money towards more *building* incentives gets to it more. Putting money towards down payments causes more inflation on existing house costs. The $25K down payment assistance, if used, should only be allowed towards housing that increased supply, i.e., new, affordable housing.

No one ever talks about the Social Security that was never accessed. Meaning the person died before they ever had a chance to start accessing their Social Security savings. All of that is just pocketed by the government. What happened to that money?

Eliminating tax on Social Security, while it sounds nice, it has the direct impact of bankrupting the Trust Fund 3 years earlier, in 2031. So it doesn't really seem like a favorable plan. For the other proposals, mainly from Trump, it all adds to the debt like a drunken sailor. Tariffs, maybe not directly, but it would crash the economy lowering tax revenue, so in the end, ya, increases the debt. No tax on overtime, increases debt. No tax on tips, increases debt. Make tax cuts permanent, increases debt. Lower Corp tax, increases debt. Tariffs paying for these new debts, not sure how crashing the economy while getting hit with reciprocal tariffs will pay for anything.

He should not be given power again." - How Trump continually praises dictators. - How Trump argued in a Colorado court that his Oath of Office did not include "supporting" the U.S. Constitution. - How Trump continues to lie about the 2020 election, and hints at more violence if he loses this election. - How Trump's former staffers have said that Trump has fascist tendencies, and how they supplied guardrails to protect the Constitution last time - and how those people will not be there next time around. If you vote based on who puts more money in your pocket, then you are missing the bigger picture. Remember, the evidence for Trump's election-related crimes has not come from Democrats - it has come from other Republicans. Trump says he only hires the best people.
