SLEEP TIP 😴: Sleep with your hair in a pineapple; After a shower; Make sure shoulders and back are completely dry; While standing still standing in slightly STEAMY bathroom; Take down pineapple and lightly manipulate hair into desired style (I like to leave the door open while running hot water 🚿 to control the ratio of moisture to A/C) The pineapple stretches your curls without crushing them and the steam from the shower allows your hair to become “pliable” making it fall into place and easy to manipulate while adding some moisture! I hope this works for you guys too ❤

I wonder if combing these out then blow drying or lightly flat iron on low setting would instantly give this a low heat silk press look? That minimizes heat for hair that is easily prone to heat damage? Let me know if this method could work cuz it seems the foam and the rollers makes your hair look like it’s been straightened then rolled. So I’m thinking if it will automatically straighten your hair if you put it in a twist out or braid out after to flatten it down then light pass blow dry or a flat iron on low heat?

silk bonnets usually prevent the hair from matting, losing moisture, and reducing frizz. if you wear a bonnet every night and refrain from adding more product every morning, this style could last abt a week or a few days longer (hair spray on the first night also helps with keeping your curls in tact, especially big ones like these. but you really don’t need a lot. ONLY the night before unless u want stiff/crunchy curls then go crazy) just sleep pretty and use your HANDS NOT BRUSH OR COMB to lightly poof your hair back out, shaking your head can also bring the curls back up. its almost the same process you would with silk press, just be mindful of the curls. albeit this isn’t the only way but this is how i do it. just remember the less products the lighter and bouncier your curls will be. hope this helps!

Hey girl, I struggle with that too but I find that after separating the curls, using a blow dryer with a comb attachment on a cool setting to fluff out the roots gives me the best volume and shape . Hope this helps!
