Well, Hamil did become a voice actor specifically. I would expect him to be reasonably good at doing voices just from having studied pitch and cadence and all of that kind of thing as part of his current line of work for creating new characters. If you haven' t kept up with his career, he's the longest serving voice of the Joker, and there's a fair number of us who consider him the best Joker, which is a really stacked and talented category.

(rant comment below sry) They said they cast the first guy that walked through the door, so careless, smh. Y'know you have this guy Anthony Ingruber, who not only just so happens to look just like him, but he also has the same deep voice, & just so happened to choose acting as his profession, & just so happened to perfect a Harrison Ford impression down to the mannerisms & facial expressions. So you have this perfect opportunity to put gold on film but instead they cast Alden Ehrenreich, a guy who obviously didn't have the voice, didn't have the face, & didn't have the charisma to pull H.F. off, & ppl said "that's not Han Solo" & they didn't wanna show up to see another disaster right after the trainwreck that was The Last Jedi. It's just another testament to Disney's legendary carelessness & mishandling of one of the most important IP's of the past half century. If audiences had seen Anthony Ingruber as Han Solo in a trailer i think they would have been shocked to see the spitting image of a young Harrison Ford on film as one of the most iconic characters of all time, & would have flocked to the theaters to see that alone, & despite its mediocre writing and story i think they would have been satisfied at least with his stunning impression of & likeness to H.F. & perhaps could have repaired some of the damage that TLJ did. Instead we got what we got, & the rest is history. "Missed opportunities" as Mark Hamill said.

I always felt he's a lot like Han Solo. In the beginning it's only a job but in the end enjoyed the experience. Always ready to walk away and be on his own but he's there when he's needed and does what's necessary. Likes his ranch in Wyoming but also likes to pay California a visit once in a while. Also he doesn't want people to notice too much so we get these halfway acted interviews which are probably 50% dry humor and 50% getting old and wanting to be left alone, so that both him and the understanding ones in the audience can have a good laugh. Just a lovely guy.

Afterwards, Ford had parts in both film and TV...but between "American Graffiti" ('73) and "Star Wars" ('77), he had a role in the Gene Hackman film, "The Conversation" ('74).. I found all this on IMDB - a phenomenal website for knowing everything... Also, with some films, there may be a sizable time difference between the filming and release points...for examples, per Wikipedia, filming for "The Bourne Identity" began in October '00, and it was not released until June '02...filming for "Pride and Glory" started in February '06, and it was released in October '08...so it is conceivable that filming of a more quickly released film might actually occur AFTER filming of a later released film...
