Looks like a beautiful park. We will have to check it out. Thanks so much for reviewing these parks it's so helpful choosing places to go. We are thinking about Buying a blackstone griddle stove like yours. We have the connect on the outside of our camper to hook up to the propane tanks. I'm not sure if we just need the regulator hose or if we also need a adapter too? I see both on Amazon. Any suggestions would be appreciated as we have never had one but think it would be really nice.

Thank you so much for watching. Harrison Lake is one of our favorites. I highly recommend getting a Blackstone. You should not need a regulator if you are using the propane on your camper. It already has a regulator. I bought a quick disconnect fitting that goes on the Blackstone. If you don’t have a quick disconnect hose on your camper you can buy them on Amazon. If you have any questions I can try to help you out.

Glad you like Harrison lake we have been camping there for 5 yrs and love it. Like you say its a hidden gem we love it we been to other Ohio State parks and loved them all. We have a group of 5 campers we travel with and we call Harrison are home base so to speak. lol

Same here! I grew up camping with my grandparents at Harrison Lake. Lots of great memories mountain biking the trails, walking down along side the dam (before they put steps in), riding all over the park, etc. Moved back to NW Ohio in 2016 and overjoyed to get to share that same experience with my kids! Our first weekend of the year is in 2 weeks too (unfortunately not with a new camper though).

An update! The South side campgrounds are brand new as of 2022. They have full functioning water and electricity with concrete pads for your campers. Really a beautiful park we visit a couple times a month. Avail yourself! Go😂

Nice campground looks like there was a few there camping. There is some good wine made in Ohio. There is a wine made in Surgarcreek called Fireproof that's really good.
