I've stayed twice in Knaresborough, which I love, but Harrogate is excellent for transport. The bus station is right next to the train station, so you can get to almost anywhere from there. I'd hop on the local stopping bus from Knaresborough, and be at the station in Harrogate in a few minutes, and then on to places like Ripon or Pateley Bridge. Thanks for your walks. Very informative, historic, and for me, memorable.

Harrogate is a nice place to walk round and visit the hotel and shops and bars and restaurants and some beautiful buildings and churches and societies and you can go on a bus

Harrogate residents are thrilled that the Stray is to be put to better use with the construction of 12 high rise apartment buildings, a Mosque and a Lidl Megga market with car park and that they are to help house immigrants ! In addition, Valley Gardens is to have UKs biggest open prison aimed at housing over 7500 convicted criminals ! The Harrogate Mayor said in a speech that this is in line with Angela Raynors / Labour's new housing policy and attract the poor of UK to a town where only the very rich could enter. Long live Starmer ! Yippeeeeeeeee !
