I’m from Salisbury and thought I knew quite a bit about the city but I’ve learnt a lot more watching this 👍

Though not a native of this part of the world, I do now live only a few miles up the road. I confess to finding your Salibury walkabout quite fascinating; I learnt a lot. Thank you.

I got bored last night and went to Salisbury for a early morning drive about. What a lovely city, I'll have to return for some lunch and a proper look around.

Terrific video. Thank you. Your research into the history of this wonderful city has given me more information for my one week visit in May 2023. I look forward to repeating your facinating walk. I love the fact that you started your video across the road from the Kings Head Inn where I will be staying.

An excellent walk. The Cathedral had a separate bell tower. It was demolished in 1790. Time team dug there in 2008.

The original hand in haunch and venison was stolen and then it was replaced with a replica and then it came back again and was returned by the thieves who no one knew who they where.

We've been watching your tours for some time now and love them! However, in the phrase "cathedral close" close rhymes with close as a noun/adjective rather than as a verb.

His pronunciation of close bothered me way more than it should have done! It's close to something, not like to close a door.

Cathedral CLOSE is pronounced like the opposite of far away and not the opposite of open.

Nice and informative videos, but pity you don't "walk inside" places you yourself qualify as remarkable, such as churches, cathedrals, and so on.

Filming and photography is often not allowed in cathedrals and churches etc.
