Every high street independent sports shop used to sell these in the days before the internet and Mike Ashley arrived, sold in those wired locking display stands to prevent pilfering sandwiched between the Assassins and Magnums. Design classic. 😊

These look to be very well made, top quality. I've had knurled grip on old brass darts, but not been a big fan. At least Harrows put a couple of rings in the DSS for us rear-grippers, otherwise it would have been a BBDSS (Bloody Big DSS). Thanks for another top review Darren

Thanks for the review! If I could make a request/suggestion. Now there's quite a bit of humming in the sections that are recorded separately (like the "detailed dimensions"), which gets to my ears, at least. This would be a quick thing to fix with Audacity (or your video editor of choice) by using denoise. Other than that, love your videos, thanks for making them!

Thanks! I know, its off my PC, its louder in recent vids as I removed the cover to fix things, I am in process of moving to new PC which is many times more quiet, but may be a few more weeks yet when I have it fully running but hopefully it wont be noticeable anymore when I do :)

@@benheckendorn2696 Thanks, I dont know, its probably going to take a long time, but I have days where it hurts more than others, it just feels like you put a lot of effort into trying to help it heal but get very little reward back :(

I think I have the 95 Tungsten set 23g. Very similar grip.

Never really got along with knurling, but as I've been throwing whatever was given me at the location for ages I sure had some like that in hands. Btw. is there a detailed video of your current favorites and set up like you'd wheel out for a match today?

It is front weighted, not massively so but for whatever reason I hit more 180's with those over the time I have had them than any other dart.

@@DartsReviewChannel Maybe a thin layer of purest copper(7th year).. let it react and get a good verdigris. BUT - Emerald is 55 years... so just five more years for some gemstone studded Harrows!

@@DartsReviewChannel ha - I am about to wrap some copper wire in the grooves of a set of arrows - dunk them in tub of vinegar and salt... and hope it will corrode after a few days. 55 candles- we will have your firebrigade on stand by!

Hey man, I’m darting for 4 months now and I can’t hit 180 😢. I got 24g darts but it has a small grip. I’m grabbing it in front and place my middle finger on the tip (like gerwyn price). I noticed that after 20 min of playing it feels like I can’t feel the dart in my hand (like it disappeared 😂). And my dart is always so flat in the board so when I throw a other dart it’s bouncing off what can I do about it? I’m thinking about buying 26g darts so it has a bigger grip. I also throw really hard (and a bit fast I think) so I think that I need some heavy darts.What do you think? Should I buy 26g or lighter like 22g? I really wanna throw some 180’s 😂 I really need advice

some people play for years and never hit a 180, there is no set time frame where you should be hitting one. If you cant feel the dart maybe it is some other issue, do you have feeling in your fingers still, I know I have a dodgy hand and sometimes my nerves are numb so I dont feel the dart well. Only thing I could suggest is try a dart with more grip, a thicker barrel may also help, try a front weighted dart and heavier might also be worth trying too. There could be all kinds of things to try with your technique though, hard to advise on here without seeing your throw. @@DartsReviewChannel Thank you for your reaction! I’m going to a dart shop tomorrow to try a heavier dart with a thicker barrel en front weighted. Maybe that helps me to be better. ❤️🔥 And maybe its a good idea to check my nerves 😅

Can’t abide knurled “grip” as they prove rather slippery for me and my mates, but as the saying goes; to each their own. Thanks for the content, though, matey. Hope that bloody elbow is getting better for you.

Its not always a popular grip, only time I really like it is as mentioned when its on thin rings, not so bad then :) Its not much better, doubt its going to get better really, thanks! :)
