I have thought these two married fast, both not being completely honest with each other. I can't stand Robert Jobson but I did see him in an interview last week where he defended Catherine and said it was absolute nonsense that she targeted Prince William with the help of her mother. He said she was due to go to a different university but changed to St Andrews when they were the only university that offered the subjects thay she was interested in. I think Harry knows that Rachel was never suicidal and that's why his body language changed when the subject came up. He's been with her long enough now to know her manipulation tactics and is probably annoyed that he fell for it. He's stuck in a hell of his own making now and I think he's miserable. I don't think he will admit it because that would mean his family was right all along. I don't think he'll ever leave her for that reason. Pride comes before a fall. My father had gone into hospital right before I travelled to visit my relatives who lived about two thousand miles away from my main family (I went with my husband and three children). On the last day of our trip, I was coming downstairs for breakfast and heard my father's voice, though I couldn't make out what he was saying. As Dad had been unresponsive when I last saw him, I immediately worried, and told my aunt (Dad's sister, the last living relative from his childhood). She asked if I thought it meant something, and I encouraged her to travel to Texas to see Dad. She and my uncle made arrangements, and they got on a plane two days after we had returned home. Dad never appeared to regain consciousness, but my aunt and uncle spent two hours with him talking about whatever and sang to him. My dad passed away not long after they were told visiting hours were over and had to leave. We all think Dad just wanted to hear his sister and know she was with him. I'm glad your mother contacted you as she did. I'm sure she thought you made her life bright and beautiful.

I agree Shauna...I was diagnosed with very late stage ovarian cancer in December 2016. For a while there I didn't know whether there was a treatment going to be offered and, if there was, whether it would "work" or whether I would just be offered paliative treatment. I remembered that David Bowie, with all his money, had died of lung cancer in January of that year. Cancer has no respect for money or privilege (as per KCIII & Princess Catherine) and this really helped me. Well, I was offered treatment, harsh treatment and major surgery, but here I am, 7 years on from going into remission and long may it last.

A friend of mine works in Housekeeping for a very well known hotel in Vegas. She told me that Ben was always lovely, no entourage, always happy to take a photo with staff & always a very good tipper. Neither of us were hurt but had to be taken to hospital for a check up. We were handed gowns and told to strip down to our underwear to wait for the doctor. I rolled my eyes in shame, declaring to the lovely nurse I had poo on my pants (knickers) Realising what I’d confessed, I lifted my skirt to reveal a little pair of teenage frillies with a motif of Winnie the Pooh. A young work colleague found herself pregnant. We stood and watched proudly as the young pair exchanged vows on a beautiful day and at the end, waved the couple off on their honeymoon to Monaco. Upon her return to work we excitedly asked if they had a nice time. She grimaced and said that Monaco was lovely and the hotel was worth every penny. I have always said they should go to a gated community if they stay in the USA, much cheaper to have communal security or go quietly to another state say Montana but I would not wish them on anyone. I do wonder if other residents would want them. M used to live in a flat in Toronto so a 4 bed house would be plenty. Sadly they want to carry on as faux royals but they do not have the income to make that work.

If you have large grounds it is much harder to control access. If you have a good alarm system you do not need a live in guard. Otherwise head off to the wilderness!

On a similar note I was suffering pain in my mid-back from a car accident previously and I asked my husband if he would put some Bengay on it as there was no possible way for me to do it. He did assist me and shortly afterwards had to use the powder room. Much to his dismay when he was in the midst of this a small bit of ointment was still on his hands and caused quite a bit of discomfort in his private parts. Although my back was sore for some time I never did ask for help with it again

When I was a young nurse I worked with a little British lady who moved to the U.S. she told us about white rabbit. So I say it the first day of every month! I’m 81 now and recently shared this with my adult son. We couldn’t find anything on Google and my Scottish daughter in law had never heard of it so I was doubting Miss Griffith.
