Thank you for this one. I have always enjoyed what interviews I have seen done with Ken. I like Diana, and she did good works. However, there were a lot of cracks which have opened over the years. A lot went on in her childhood which I think shows in both her and her brother. No excuses, people make their own choices, but I do find it sad.

I have been out of commission for over a month without any internet so this is sort of bringing me up to date. Thank you so much Shauna. I have always thought that Harry has to accept his situation, he made his bed and he must lie in it. I amo your wavelength. There are NO KIDS.

Thanks, Shauna. I think I was put off by Ken Wharfe when I saw him in interviews. He always seems to be fawning over Harry and dismissing William, but it is fascinating what his book is revealing-excuse the pun.

The story of the shirt and the towel does not surprise me when it comes to Diana. It does make me believe (in my opinion) that Ken was not the most upstanding of gentlemen. The fact that William was there tells me once again what a bad mother she actually was. What self-respecting woman, let alone a mother, irons another man's shirt naked under a towel in front of an impressionable boy. Worse, there is a man there without a shirt . She then lets the towel drop. That story makes me slightly nauseous if I think of William being there. Diana was a sick, sick person and dangerous to her children's mental well-being if this story was true, and William really was there saying she had a crush on Ken this borders on abuse on Diana's part. I'm not sure if it was properly investigated in this day it wouldn't have crossed the line. This story is not juicy. It might have been for some if William wasn't involved. It just increases my disgust for Diana. Harry is his mother's son without charisma and beauty. William has her looks and charisma, but he is his father's son. He has his intelligence, work ethic, and attention to duty. I have developed an extreme distaste for those who are charitable and caring when public facing and mightmares at home. Like most people, I appreciate what Diana achieved. For that, she was loved and adored and in the spotlight. That was what she almost wanted after all!! It didn't last. She had and continued to lose popularity at the time of her death. I think this may be the last thing I will read about Diana. I've heard enough, and I realize that the more I hear, the more I'm left with a slightly sick feeling afterward. This is especially true when her children are involved.

Thanks so much for your comments!! I have often felt this way over the years about Diana. I never got a good vibe on Diana and my family and friends disagreed with me. I always sensed that Diana was emotionally unstable and treacherous and artificial. Now I know my own instincts were correct. She USED Charles and I'm over it about her young age. The 19 year old knew what she was doing!! She was a mean bully to Charles and everyone else. She wanted a title and castles and balcony appearances and clothes and jewelry and vacations and notoriety and prestige and financial stability and handbags and respect and admiration and press coverage and should I go on? Diana wouldn't have looked twice at Charles if he was a butcher or a baker or a candle stick maker. Not everything can be blamed on Camilla and Charles infidelity or Diana's youth. Diana pushed to get into the royal family and then pushed to get out. I'm sorry she was killed because she left two sons behind but people were enormously fooled by Diana. She was a horrible person!!

I think the reason the world remains so fascinated with Princess Diana is she was authentically complicated and a mix of some very amazing qualities and some very destructive and bad tendencies. People now seem to want to make Queen Camilla the hero and Diana the villain, but people need to remember Princess Diana was still very young when she died and had she been gifted more years and the redemptive arc Camilla was allowed, I think she also would have been redeemed and viewed very differently. Princess Diana was very human and put under horrible stress at a young age, so she should be held accountable but there needs to be some perspective.

What I found that was hypocrytical about Diana is that she had sex with men who were attatched to other women. ...even Dodi who was engaged. Charles does not seem to have done the same things with many women belonging to other men. Camilla, perhaps but her husband was alleged serial adulterer.
