Harry And Meghan Plan To Visit Nigeria | "They Only Wanted The Good Things!"

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will visit Nigeria next month after Harry attends an event in the UK.
He will attend a ceremony marking the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games at London’s St Paul’s Cathedral on Wednesday May 8, though it is not known if Meghan will join him.
The couple will then head to Nigeria after being invited by the west African country’s chief of defence staff, who met Harry in Germany last September at Invictus Games Dusseldorf.

If H is planning future IG in Nigeria I think it'll be a very hard sell for most of the veterans. At the moment both the UK and the US have Nigeria marked as an 'unsafe' country for travel. These commentators are actually saying that Harry and Meghan left because they just wanted to do the work of the monarchy (i.e. go on royal tours and work with patronages etc.) without dealing with negative UK press all the time. What is wrong with that ? Why stay somewhere where everything you do is scrutinized but almost everything the other senior royals do is almost never criticized. Harry and Meghan, who dont live in the UK or receive public funds, are discussed on every UK press platform several times a day, more than the other senior royals combined. Can you imagine the level of coverage if they were still working royals living in the UK. Neither Harry, Meghan or Nigeria have called their visit a royal tour. Just the UK press. Nigeria wants to host the Invictus games in the future. Therefore, Nigeria wants to show what they have to offer the athletes and identify any improvements they would need to host the game.
