My father, a Dublin born and trained stained-glass artist, was friends with Harry Clarke. I treasure my childhood Anderson's Fairy Tales, illustrated by Mr. Clarke, whose illustrations sent my imagination flying...phantasmagorical and mesmerizing images. Also, his illustrations for Faust and for The Portrait of Dorian Gray.

Were psych mushrooms a thing during his time? His images are obviously of that road. Best Irish artist. Groundbreaking

I have to see this. Saw his illustrations for Faust when I was a little girl and from then on things were different...

From the trailer I understood (rightly or wrongly) that the documentary is about Clarke's life: his genius, his vision, and the controversy surrounding his art and the conflicts that controversy engendered. If you want to just see pictures of his work you'll find hundreds from a google image search.

the 30 seconds viewing of his actual work here dont do justice to the only reason why anyone should wish to view the documentary..by seeing his work (not the credits, the talking heads or the dark moonlight river scene). Is there a trailer that is longer or actually shows some of his work? otherwise I have no idea what is in store.
