The Duke and Duchess Titian only be removed by Parliament. So far Members of Parliament have tried but it always fails; it probably does not help that the King has been reluctant to signal his OK to remove the Sussex title. The Princely title the king may have some leeway. IMO whatever ability the king has he should use. Why? Because imo going on these vacations at someone else’s dime actually undercuts the real Royal Family especially in the American press.
