I’m doing my best to familiarize myself with the story before playing Hogwarts Legacy. The game looks fun despite the fact that it’s the kind of genre I haven’t really played before and it’s based on the kind of books I don’t read in the movies I don’t really watch. It’s difficult for me to wrap my head around everything when there are so many unusual words. Unusual names of characters, names of places, names of monsters, names of spells and magic and potions… It’s difficult for me to keep everything straight. I’ve been watching the films and then watching these recaps. I’m still confused about several things, hopefully they’ll be answered in later films. For instance, in this movie, why did the pet spider attack Harry and company? Hagrid sent them to the spider so he must have thought the spider was going to be friendly. And the spider did provide them with information… But then why provide information if you’re just going to try and kill them with your spider army? Why did Voldemort want to kill Harry’s parents and Harry himself? I guess there is a bloodline situation. I presume Harry comes from some kind of super powerful lineage because why would Voldemort, whom we are told is almost all powerful, get defeated by a baby? A baby! Voldemort is either a total fraud or there is some thing immensely powerful about Harry that the audience (and Harry) doesn’t know yet. This is also the second film in a row where the dark arts teacher’s is actually bad. So we will have three different films with three different dark arts teachers? Will there be a different dark arts teacher in every movie? Is that building to something as well?

Hey, it's kinda funny seeing how confused you are, no offense, but I get it lol. Lemme help you out some. I'm assuming you've caught up in the three weeks since posting this, and idk if these questions have been answered for you yet, but I'll try. 1. I think he only had a special relationship with Hagrid, as he is a wild beast. He did what Hagrid asked of him, but then figured he could also get a meal. Then again, that's just a guess. This has always confused me a little too. 2. I think this was mentioned in the first movie, though it is a little cheesy. Lily Potter jumped in front of Voldemort's spell targeted at Harry, saving his life, but dying in the process. This selfless act of love put like a barrier of protection of Harry, and Voldemort's spell didn't work, but gave him the scar. I could be forgetting something, as I too am rewatching and am only on this one, but that was for sure mentioned by Dumbledore in the first movie. 3. Yeah, bad dark arts teachers are kinda a staple in this franchise lol. As I said, I'm sure you've caught up in the three weeks since you've posted this, but it's like that until the 6th movie where he's kind of bad but not a villian by any means. Then 7 part 1 and 2 don't have any classroom scenes. Lastly, I want to make sure you know that none of the characters from these movies are going to be in the game. I'm not sure how long, but the game is set wayyyy in the past. The only things you really get from watching the movies right now are that you'll recognize areas of the castle, names of spells and potions, and if you watch fantastic beasts (I wouldn't though) then you'll recognize the animals that lurk outside (may be missing some things though). I think this game will be enjoyable for all, even if you never read the books or saw the movies, but I like that you're putting the effort in. I don't think you'll have the nostalgia feeling most OG fans will, but you'll definitely have some deja vu moments newbies will not. Either way, I'm glad we're both looking forward to the game, and I wish you luck when you start!

From Sybill Trelawney's prophecy, Voldemort learned that he was fated to be defeated by a boy who would be born at the end of July in 1980. The two possibilities were Potter, or Neville Longbottom, and Voldemort happened to go for Harry first. As for the spider thing, it would be safe to assume that Aragog's brain (though being rased by a "wizard") does not function is the same way that a human's brain does. Spiders don't understand the concept of "friend", but they do understand they they're hungry and it's cold and there's food infront of them. Also, it is theorized that Tom Riddle put a curse on Hogwarts regarding the defense against the dark art's teachers. Tom Riddle applied himself for the position and was turned down by Dumbledore -- the only one that was able to see through his false persona. Hope this helps 😁

He didn't know Rakepick was a member of R, he didn't know Quirrell had Voldemort on the back of his head (but suspected it later on), he didn't know Lockhart was a fraud (but suspected him), he knew Lupin was a werewolf (but he had him there because Sirius escaped), he didn't know Moody was impersonated by BCJ (who was a Death Eater), he was forced to hire Umbridge, he hired Snape knowing he was going to die later that year, and he died after that, so he had no control over Amycus Carrow.

you have not explained the book. you repeated what was showed in the movie which was VERY VERY diffrent from the book. the movie mised so many details and so did you. some are harry finding malfoys in knuktrum alley or the time diffrences between these events which is also VERY VERY important. please dont cut story short to make your video short
