The GBA version makes me imagine that a Resident Evil would work just fine for the handheld. I think it's really cool that to make up for the limitations of the handheld consoles they used pre-rendered backgrounds from the home console versions.

I find it interesting that the first few games were WILDLY different for different consoles, but as they started releasing more HP titles they started to unify the overall design and structure. It's crazy that something like this could be released on the GBA and be so similar to a PC version!

The GBA port is the most amazing thing to me ever. I love seeing these 2.5D Resident Evil style games on the handheld. I wish they would make more of them for console. It's action adventure and it's cinematic!

The GBA version is really interesting. The graphics is not that complex : Pre rendered environments and "presumably" 3D personages. Simple but effective.

Just played the PSP version on an emulator. It actually plays more like the console version than the DS, kind of a blend between the 2. Very interesting ... makes me wish I had a PSP as a kid and that the PS Vita didn't suck

when you gotta give more credits for the GBA than on the DS. for the quality of the graphics because the GBA is much older than the DS. and the DS is more modern and only managed to improve like 5% from the GBA. lmao

Yea the ps2 version actually looks really good if you have an old flat screen at a lower resolution. Old games look better when the TV matches the game resolution or is closer to it
