i hate the way the movies act as if snape's worst memory (which is thr name of the chapter where the bullying takes place) was all four of the marauders just bullying him in a 20 second long scene. In the book the entire section takes up a full chapter where we see that 1. james and sirius are the only ones actually doing the bullying, peter is stood laughing and remus is sat under a tree reading, nervously glancing over the top of his book incase he needs to get involved (his job as a prefect) 2. the worst memory isn't even supposed to be the bullying, snape's worst memory is him calling lily a mudblood when she tries to help him the scene in the movie acts like the marauders were bullying him unprovoked and trying to make us dislike james (it didn't work i am a marauders bitch and would marry james potter on the spot) and it "humanised" snape, even though he uses a wizarding slur that he physically can't even use because he himself has muggleblood, with him being a half blood. (we also robbed of the "hes sitting in my chair, hes wearing my robes and his names is remus lupin" scene but thats not what this rant it about)

Imao in the book scene whag we can see is also James sexually assault severus, him and sirius torturing ( chocking) severus, lily almost laughing about it, should i continue ? The movies didnt show the worst of teen maraudeurs..also yes in the book toi it was them who attack severus for literaly no reasons, did you even read it ?

Even though I'm not the *biggest* fan of the Marauders when they were kids, i still feel like we need a separate movie about them, Snape and Lily. I mean, we have younger Dumbledore and Grindelwald. So it would make sense.

Agreed. As a fan of the books, I’m content with the Fantastic Beasts movies, but it’s a missed opportunity that we haven’t gotten a Marauders movie yet. Especially since I’ve always felt like James Potter totally got screwed over in the movies.
