Great job, I love paper in all its forms, more of these please. A good way to get the edge of the paper like it is in the film is to put the ruler down where you want to tear it then run a paintbrush along the ruler where it meets the paper which is just damp not soaking wet with water, then tear keeping the ruler in place so you don't rip your project. You could always practise first on a spare bit of paper.

That's a great idea - thanks so much for the tip. I will definitely they that in that future 😁

That is a really fun project! (FYI: a 'deckled edge' is the term used for the rough edge often seen on hand made papers.) 👍

Oh, I've never heard of that before, thanks for the that!

Great video. Thank you for sharing this replica. If you wanted the edges closer to the movie, you could take a nail file or sand paper and lightly go across the edges. Even dragging the paper across some bricks or the sidewalk could work. Thank you again for the template. I'm going to make this and add it to my shelves.

I really love these (fairly, I’m sure still tricky) short craft idea videos! I’m looking to tryout a few of my own wizarding world inspired projects but I’m not sure where to start and these would be great! This one especially is an example of a small touch that can truly make a prop scene magical!! Thank you for all the videos 😊

You could use a bone folder. It's very helpful. That's what I use for my greeting cards and bookmarks. And why do you say "I'll meet you in the Gryffindor common room"? You're a Hufflepuff.

You know I actually have a bone folder and I don't know why it didn't come to mind when making this - silly me ha ha. Of course I'm in Hufflepuff, but this note was about meeting in the Gryffindor common room lol
