It’s funny how it’s just a “book” and just a “movie” but I’ve never felt so connected to any world before. I’m homesick to a place I’ve never been to. I miss friends that I never met. I miss a room that I’ve never been in.

The Gryffindor common room is the coziest and warmest, the best place to just relax, play games, and chat with friends. The Hufflepuff common room is the lightest and freshest, the best place to rejuvenate yourself amongst the plants and flowers, it's the place to go if you're feeling down and need a pick me up. The Ravenclaw common room is the most magnificently beautiful common room, airy and brisk, perfect for studying and reaching into the higher realms of thought. The Slytherin common room is the darkest and most mysterious, the perfect place to fall deep into your inner thoughts and feelings. Ravenclaw here and I love all of the common rooms equally, just differently.

It's kind of funny really, how someone can miss a place they've never been so much. How a series of books and a few movies has changed so many lives, and some including myself feel welcomed and wanted in this world because to us, this is home. The pain of living here, in this world when I want to be there doing magic and enjoying myself is a different kind. One that lingers and fades over time,but hearing music like this or seeing a quote that hits a little too hard brings all of the pain flooding back. I don't know, we all might be a little crazy but at least we're all as sane as Luna.

I wanna drown into this. I feel like i’m sitting in the common room with Harry, Ron, and Hermione. All of us casually studying happily together next to the fireplace. Staring outside the Quidditch Pitch. This makes me feel so nostalgic. Harry Potter has always been my childhood.

I don't know why, but whenever I hear this I feel... Warm. This is my home, my house, my place. I remember those moments when I saw the movies for the first time, when I started reading the books; and above all, the great friendships I have formed over time. “Harry Potter” was, and is, one of the reasons why I know who I am, I know what my goals and dreams are, and I know what I want in my life. The magic is real, And if you don't believe it, ask the little girl I was a few years ago.
