There is one small part of the film set still in place at Gloucester Cathedral. As Howarts is a magical place it has no need for electricity. Therefore things such as light switches were disguised for filming. At the Southern end of the East Cloister the light switches are still hidden behind a wooden box structure, painted to look like stonework. This was left behind after the filming for one of the Potter films, and has been in place ever since.
