The Wizarding World website mentions the Career Mode as one of the 3 main options available which is effectively a solo or co-op "campaign". It seems to take elements from the likes of the fifa games career mode which sounds really, really promising.

@@timothyzufelt955 not sure what you mean by top down but it’s third person full 3d like hogwarts legacy but cant get off the broom and the flight controls are worlds better than legacy

Dude they literally said you can play this by yourself against the AI and it has a fully fleshed our career mode starting from school and working your way into the pros and getting drafted.

Quidditch need its standalone triple A production and not cramped into another game just to make it half baked. Let Hogwarts Legacy shine in other ways, Quidditch is big of an activity that it deserves it own game.

Like others here, I am also very eager for this game. Certainly will purchase it on day one, or pre-order if that becomes available. I do hope there's a lot of customization for the player character. On that note I wonder if mods will be available in the same way as mods were for HL -- player mod for example, play as a Death Eater or Voldemort himself. I have only one criticism and it is mostly my own selfish preference in that I am spoiled with HL visual aesthetics and so the characters in the trailer look to me kinda like Pixar inspired. But I can live with that. Looking forward to joining a team. *hint hint ;-)

Bit weird, but I hope Crabbe and Goyle finally become Quidditch players. Goyle’s actor read the books and was looking forward to filming Quidditch scenes only to find out he would not appear in those scenes😢

@@BenjaminSnow same! I saw people comparing the game to the Quidditch World Cup. In my opinion that game has stood the test of time for what it is. People need to relax and realize that there are a lot of Wizarding World games in the next pipeline at WB Games. Hogwarts Legacy showed executives that there’s a MASSIVE audience for Wizarding World games.

In theory, such games should be free, since its popularity depends on the number of online players, that is, live players. And I’m sure there will still be microtransactions and most likely the game will become free when the online presence drops significantly.

The developers under the FAQ for this game have confirmed that there will be no micro-transactions, at least at launch. Who knows about later, time will tell.

That is, the developers immediately say that they will not develop the game since there is no point in developing the game without microtransactions = a dead game.even battleground switched from a paid version of the game to a free one with microtransactions because they couldn’t develop the game, now they’re constantly adding something there -_-

As someone who has played Fifa for over a decade let me tell you that realism is not what you want in a sports video game. Fifa is getting more and more realistic and less and less fun. So the fact that they are going with an arcade style look instead of a Hogwarts Legacy like realistic look is imo very promising 👌

On another note, I noticed many people criticizing the graphics, but personally, I quite like them. They remind me of Quidditch World Cup, and in my opinion, cartoony graphics tend to age well.

Not sure, something is telling me to write this. This game will be great if it have that mario kart energy. Not sure if that makes sense, but since the game doesn’t have the graphics of hogwarts legacy, then match the energy of the colorful imagery they chose to do. In a nut shell, make it fun as fug.

The three hoops in the BOOKS are all fifty feet high, only in the MOVIES, each hoop is a different height. I prefer the BOOKS, but it appears that this game is built to look like MOVIES...

It's probably going to just be an emote of some sort or a winning animation were you take up your wand doing something cool at the end of the match. I doubt we going to be able to use them while we play the match itself.
