I can't really be mad at people for feeling how they feel, but I also fall in a very slim superfan demographic. Loved Quidditch World Cup, and I knew there would be a standalone Quidditch since the early Hogwarts Legacy days, had no problem with them leaving it out. This game's initial announcement was so muted that it kind of killed my hype, but by now I've really come around on it. Not having a AAA feel for this makes sense. Focusing on the gameplay, easier artstyle, Harry Potter era focus, solo AND multiplayer so the game doesn't have to die...a lot of these choices make complete sense from a behind the scenes perspective. I think people are looking at this game through the wrong expectations.

Honestly the graphics are nothing to how its going to be played. It's the same thing for Roller Champions. Literally the same graphics and both high paced games. If graphics are where you draw the line then you shouldn't play any game ever. Sure I was bummed that Hogwarts Legacy not having it but it wasn't the end of the world. For me someone who haven't played the Beta I would've loved Gameplay.

The character models aren't realistic but they look like an updated version of the QWC game and first 3 potter games. Plus I'm sure as a developer, this type of character model is easier to create and spend more time on creating a good game than focusing on making top of the line graphics like in other sports sims. Hopefully we get some gameplay soon.

im from Brazil, here, the most problem are the public, people that thins it will be a free to play game even if the company don't say nothing, and people thing that the game will be a Rocket league full competitive game, a LOT of people are calling this a dead game, the biggest problem are just the people imagining what the game has to be, they ignore the fact that ia a AA game, ignore de single player, ignore the FAQ and are sharing fake information, in other hand, people that a i see playing beta are talking good things about the game

no one wants an entire game of just quidditch we wanted quidditch included in a harry potter game.....like a multiplayer mode in a single player game.......BUT i don't always know what i want so il give it a chance

I had a Dev of the game comment on a video I made regarding QC, saying he was grateful for the coverage and was happy to see people excited for this game, so I'd say they're definitely onboard with people talking about it :)

Yeah I think they appreciate the positivity but it's just annoying on a legal end we're literally not allowed to talk about the playtest and I think it would be quite beneficial

Multiplayer only where you have to pay upfront is always a bad sign. It'll depend on the IP strength to make the case. Blabs from Sidescrollers played the alpha, or something like that and she wasn't very positive about it. I'm a not a huge fan like she is.

I don't know anything about how games are made but I wonder if the more simpler design will make it easier for the game to be cross platform. Seemed like Hogwarts Legacy struggled with having to translate across all the different platforms.

I was really hoping for a manager type quiditch game where you manage a team from nothing all the way to winning the world cup. kinda like football manager but i dont play that i dont like football XD but instead we got the fifa version of quidditch so it will be a pass for me also

Maybe the art style makes people think that the game is rather childish/not so serious and it gives a mobile phone feel. I wonder if some of the thumbs down are just politics? It is a HP game afterall. I think it's fair not to be hyped based upon the trailer alone especially if expectations are really high.

At least it'll be with with ps+ if they end up not showing gameplay. Would be nice if they showed gameplay though cause i played one of the beta and along with a lot of people wanna talk about it

I didn't want Quidditch being shoe-horned in to HL I suspect too many people get us to some games having realistic characters in games, and then they expect all games to look like that. The game isn't out yet and they may have tweaked a few things from the testing stage, I would never fully judge any game until I actually played it.

Im only interested in the career mode and the single player experience as a whole I want my traditional sports game fix but with Quidditch so yeah I want have a QWC nostalgia trip but with modern gameplay and graphics.

The art style looks very much like something from a mobile game, and when this was first announced, many people assumed it was going to be only a mobile game because of it. I think if it had a bit more detail then it could solve that assumption issue. As for how they're releasing it, I'm pleasantly surprised that it's a buy to play game and not a free to play with lot's of micro-transactions, as that's what I thought it was going to be, given the comments earlier this year from WB. I'm going to hold off pre-ordering until I see the gameplay so I know if this will be for me or not, but I definitely feel more positive about this game after the trailer drop at Summer Gaming Fest.

I think it's because some people are still upset that quidditch wasn't in Hogwarts Legacy or they just don't have a good feeling about this game. I'll admit that I'm very skeptical about Quidditch Champions

Gameplay has to be fun and not super kiddy. Imma sports gamer probably 75-80% of my gaming is sports gaming. I'll probably play this because i played the old quidditch game as a kid.

Quiditch in legacy would of been hard heres why the switch version got delay and they had to chance the game a bit so I don't think the switch could of handle it

I like the art style, it’s giving Fortnite to me. Also, I think video game enthusiasts and developers across-the-board have become too focussed on realistic graphics. I don’t need the video game adaptation of a fictional magical sport involving flying broomsticks to look real 😂 If the game features ray-traced lighting that would be cool and good enough imo
