If they were gonna do a remake something that might be fun would be to add a make your own player or team feature. You make your team to build up how you might like it. Then grow to represent a country for the cup. Even drafting players from schools maybe. Not like it doesn't happen irl.

It can very well happen, earlier this year a game who kinda looks like quidditch came out (It was named Broomstick League) and they were forced to close the game down even though i don't think it was against a copyright, so i guess they know people still want a real quidditch experience with character creation and all.

This game has one of the best intros of all time. Fun Fact: There were 3 more Quidditch teams planned to be in the game but were cut mid development. They were Iceland, Egypt and Transylvania. I would love to see the old Potter games come back in a remastered collection.

French team is OP if the user is enjoying combo passes. Their formation or idle speed allow for the next player in chain of combo to always be in position. They can get the ball from one side of stadium to another under combo invincibility and shoot it straight through the hoop without breakng the chain. They can only ever be stopped by the trap bonuce. And if rival doesn't have one - tough luck. I was always keeping those french girls for the hardest difficulty as my star team.

I played the nordic team a lot, loved their special move. I remember certain games i played against other teams. Norse v. Australia was a pain in the ass, took so long, and I remember them using their move like five times in that game. My first match against the bulgarians was difficult and long. The victory was really close.

well, the other teams give your seeker dominance by reducing the seeker bar of the opposing team (Gryffindor does this the most) and almost guaranteeing you get 150 points from catching the snitch.

It’s going to be interesting for sure. I’m trying to remain positive. I got PS+ so I essentially get it for free so why not is more the mentality I have. I like the fact that you can play as any position. The trailer also said 16 teams for the World Cup. I think I’m indifferent to special moves. Only if the game is a complete experience with interwoven elements that contribute to the win. Since you could only control the chasers and seeker before, looking back on it… without special moves, Quidditch World Cup would’ve gotten stale with lack of options in gameplay
