@@TrentvsTheWorld In the old game, you could play as the house Quidditch teams, so you had all of Harry's team, and then Cedric Diggory for Hufflepuff, and Cho Chang for Ravenclaw. So if they follow the same formula, we'll get to play as major characters.

The best game you can make in the Harry Potter universe is "Hogwarts Family." It consists of creating a character like Harry Potter who does not know that this magical world or school exists. And your goal is to complete all seven years of school. You are doing homework, going to classes, trying to get on your house's quidditch team that selected you for the sorting hat. You take him to the bathroom, he has to eat, he has to sleep, he has feelings, "sims" type. In the summers you will visit your family where you can do many activities and watch Quidditch World Cup matches in the stadiums or on TV. And once you graduate you make his son to play with him. and so on for many generations. You could do like 300 to 500 years of generations of wizards going to Hogwarts and each character would have their own friends and adventures. All your characters from first to last become grandfather, great-grandfather, great-great-grandfather until they die. And as the years go by, everything evolves, clothes, transportation, cities, etc. The open world map would be equal to or larger than Grande Theft Auto V or Vl. Of course, the creators would take 15 or more years to finish it. and once the game is over. It would take the player more than a decade to finish it. That is, the game starts at 1500, 1700, 1759 or 1800 and ends in 2007.

I understand its a multiplayer fast paced game, so graphics can't be too detailed and in depth as it would be a waste and could make gameplay harder but c'mon this looks like a video I'd find on KZbin Kids with a horrible written song about eating vegetables over it. Please make it look a little better the map give it some thrill and more feeling because this really just is a lazy way of using Harry Potter for money. Still looks like it should be a free game but if they really don't add micro transactions then I guess 30$ would seem fair if it included all dlc/updates which is unlikely. Not sure about this one....

I'd play this, but I'm hoping this is gonna feel like a good sports game. I'd like to be able to make a character and do the whole "road to the show" but, obviously, quidditch. The fact they showed the characters from the books and the Hogwarts Quidditch pitch tells me this might miss that mark. I'd still give it a chance though

I’m not a HP fan but always thought the idea of Quidditch was interesting. The vibe just feels too nice, lacks intensity and almost childish. Someone said to watch the 03 trailer and its far better, it has that grittiness that’s missing from this. Disappointed with fortnite direction they took this in but they will make a TON of money from it.

I am not excited. I dont think it should be quidditch for the house cup... the hogwarts house robes and quidditch pitch should be cosmetic options. We should be choosing from like 50 or 60 quidditch teams. They should have treated it like fifa but with a fictional world.

Congrats. You managed to gain and lose your entire fanbase in one trailer. Not only does it look like a mobile game but it looks like you lazily tweaked the settings of QWC for ps2 to try to get away with saying its a new game. How does a group manage to fail this hard. Passion for actually creating games is gone. All people want now is money. Wow. It really is the root of all evil

We will see 5 harry potters doing rolls and dodges against 5 other harry potters... But now that i'm thinking about it, it's actually lore friendly, since it's wizarding world we are talking about

I hope they edit the graphics just a little bit I don’t want the players to look like Fortnite players if they make the graphics like hogwarts legacy GAME OVER

I will never invest a single minute again in anything coming out from WB. killing franchise games nonstop just to make spread sheets look better.. . yeah you so corporate its hurting fans and the company. WB is in its own way far to often now.

This game looks awful. Not gameplay awful, graphically awful. I don’t need high fidelity, but it looks like a little cell shaded and the graphics look basic and simple. It lacks depth graphically speaking.

The gameplay and multiplayer must be epic. Otherwise, this is going to flop hard. This sport always was a good side activity in a game. But I don't see myself doing this as a main thing over and over again.

I really liked the beta but this was a bad trailer. Why not show actual gameplay, now half the people think this is a top down view mobile game. Anyway I think this is DOA not being F2P. I don't know what they were thinking.
