Because Hermione’s skills and importance is blown up out of proportions in the movies, and even in the late books, written after the movies started coming out. It’s no secret that the screenwriter was chosen for the job by J. K. Rowling because his favourite character was Hermione, and Hermione is the authors self-insert, often making her look brilliant and superhuman on behalf of Ron and Harry, and other characters. At the same time, her flaws were suddenly gone, had no consequences, or were «a strenght more than a flaw». Many of Harry and Ron’s best moments and lines were given to Hermione in the movies, making her ridiculously overrated. For example; Ron was the one who said «If you’re going to kill Harry, you have to kill us too» in The Prisoner of Azkaban, on a BROKEN LEG, to a then believed to be convicted murderer. And it was Harry’s idea and initiative, to escape on the back of the dragon who guarded the deepest vaults in Gringotts in the Deathly Hallows; Hermione in the books was petrified out of her mind in both of these situations. But in the movies she is given all the credit for the whole trios accomplishments in both of these two situations, just to name a few. «Because she’s the smartest one. That means that the other main characters had to be dumbed down and made less competent to make her shine more by default". THAT’s why that line doesn’t bear very much weight, at least for me. It is a very only-watched-the-movies exposure. And WRONG. The trio saved each other's lives, and other people’s lives, multiple of times, starting with Harry and Ron saving Hermione from the Troll. And if anything, I would say that Harry had the worst luck you could get, being forced to basically live as a child soldier, in the first place.

When Harry maintained that Voldemort was back Umbridge gave him detention every weeks : He had to write "I must not tell lies" as many times as Umbridge thought necessary for "the message to sink in". The catch was that Harry was given a magic quill that would not only use his blood as ink but also cut into the back of his hand the words he was writing and for the detentions to stop Harry would have to bend the knee and retract what he had said. In the end he had to do this so many times that the cut was so deep it left deep scars in his hand but instead of using magic to make those scars dissapear he decided to keep them as a reminder to never bend the knee and always tell the truth

Well. It's not Mark Hamill's(Luke Skywalker's) fault for the demise of Star Wars in the new movies. And yeah George Lucas was looking for retirement and sold it to Disney and Disney turn it into a cop out Power Ranger light show in space. But the only thing that Disney did right. Is the Mandalorian and baby Yoda. If you are going by the totality of both Harry Potter and Young then Old Luke Skywalker; going by all the movies they were in. Then Harry Potter won it overall because there's no way I am going to watch another new Star Wars continuation of the Rebel vs Empire again. I would rather rewatch the newer Harry Potter movies when he is older and no less of a squeaker. Because that is more like the Fantastical Beast movies which I like about watching the newer Harry Potter movies. But if you are just comparing old stuff like old Star Wars movies vs Harry Potter when he was a child still and not all grown up in puberty yet. Then Luke Skywalker wins in classic fashion.
