Actually the "shoot first" debate is an arguement about the validity of the recuts. In the first release, Han very clearly shoots him dead as Greedo starts drawing his blaster to establish his complex character, as Star Wars was literally a Western in Space. However, it didn't have the effect he wanted on certain audiences, so he did a reshoot that had Greedo fire off a shot before getting killed by Han in the re-release. These two opposing versions of events released in the age before internet, of course, caused some confusion and debate amongst fans. Now, of course, eveyone knows what happened, so it only exists as a meme.

Also, there are some interesting background animations, in case you didn't see them (I certainly didn't the first time through). In Harry's first verse, you can see Hagrid holding an egg in the background, and throughout the verse it hatches into a dragon that starts breathing fire. Luke's hand turns black right after he talks to R2D2 in the beginning of Luke's 2nd verse. After Luke breaks his wand, Harry shows up in the third verse with the Elder Wand, which was one of the Deathly Hallows. I hate when Newton did the definite integral from 0 to π/6 of sec(y) dy. The answer is log base e of root 3 (sqrt{3} or 3^{1/2}). Newton says that answer times the 64 power of what. The 64 being completely arbitrary, and just the same as multiplying by one. The “what” could be 1,-1,i, or -i yet Neil went with i just because it fits his rap. They literally just took a simple answer purposely made it look more complicated, but easily solved if you know what imaginary numbers are and only brought up a single solution. The integral isn’t even hard to do, Bill Nye has an engineering degree if anything he should already know what that integral is the natural log of something. The fact that he gave ln(sqrt{3}) already as the answer times the 64 power of something, Bill Nye would already be abled to solve it. He would easily say that’s its x^{64}=1and get 1,-1,i,-i without a problem. This such a bad example, Newton had way more problems that would actually need Neil to come in. Yet they chose this one and it’s honestly very disappointing. They try to act like Nye would actually get intimidated by this integral when the answer is right there, it does not take a big brain to solve this

That is the thing. Harry's mom's love is what saved him. Voldemort was: "move aside" and Harry's mom was: "No!" So Voldy was: "okay, you die now" Killed her, then went to kill Harry, but since his mother had died protecting him, her death created a sort of spell, that protected Harry from Voldemort. So when Voldy went: "Avada Kedabra!" the spell bounced back and killed him. Well, he still lived because he had split his soul into multiple part and as such he could not truly die as his soul was anchored to the mortal realm. But from then on, every time Voldemort tried killing Harry, it would backfire somewhat. Voldy could not even touch harry, without Harry's mother magical protection kicking in and turning him into ash. It got to the point where Voldy used Harry's blood so he could touch Harry and it still hurt him to touch. At least he was not turned to ash by the experience like before. Dumbledore said, Voldy would never understand the primal magic that protected Harry as it touched upon emotion and significance of the acts you commit and Voldy never did. Poopy Pomfrey was the School nurse. She gave Harry a potion that regrew his bones and could cast healing spells to mend fractured bones too. She eventually gave Harry some smack for always ending under her care. Maclunky I think is literally: this is your end or something like that.

A moisture farm ONLY makes sense on a desert planet. You need to farm condensation from the air to get any water in that environment.

My biggest problem with the Prequels is the contradiction Padmé's death was from the scene in Jedi where Leia tells Luke about what she remembers of their real mother. The dialog is: Princess Leia: Luke, what's wrong? Luke: Leia, do you remember your mother? Your real mother? Princess Leia: Just a little bit. She died when I was very young. Luke: What do you remember? Princess Leia: Just... images really. Feelings. Luke: Tell me. Princess Leia: She was... very beautiful. Kind, but sad. Why are you asking me this? Luke: I have no memory of my mother. I never knew her.

a moisture farm uses those pylons you see all over the desert to gather what little moisture is in the air to use it for drinking water, so considering the lack of drinking water and hydro coolants on a desert planet it is a genius hustle. it makes perfect sense as water is so rare it is basic supply and demand.

Jakob was correct, Harry won. Luke had some great lines, but Harry flipped a lot of them. This is still hands down one of their best ERB's. Some of the hardest lines, some of the best back and forth, it's so good. I might be biased, because Dave is the one rapping for Harry, and his channel boyinaband is super underrated, I think he's a fantastic rapper and he deserves more shine. He has one called Don't Stay In School which might be interesting to see a teacher and a student react to. Just putting that out there, to any reaction channel that may have those requirements, and also have expressed an interest in rap music before. 👀 Oh, and expelliarmus is used to disarm your opponent. It's one of Harry's go to spells, because that's a thing in the Harry Potter world. Most of the main characters have them. This was great, love long format stuff from you guys, I'm gonna go catch up on the ones I've missed.

About Padme's death, there are actually recorded cases in real life of people dying of sadness so it is entirely possible for that to be the reason she died. It doesn't make it any less stupid but at least we know that people can actually die like that. Also, George Lucas himself stated that The Empire is based off Vietnam era USA and The Rebels on the Vietcong with influences from WWII.

Upon Googling this and falling down the rabbit hole of the hashtag on Twitter, it’s a Huttese threat. Sebulba says almost the identical thing in Phantom Menace. Gotta say I think Harry won this battle. So the Seven Horcruxes, voldemort created himself were: The diary :- He made it when he was 16 years old by killing moaning myrtle. It was destroyed by Harry in chamber of secrets using basilisk fang. The gaunt ring :- He made it by killing his father & his family ,then blamed it on his maternal uncle marvolo . It was destroyed by Dumbledore in 1996, in the half blood prince. The Hufflepuff cup:- He made it by killing Hephzibah smith. It was destroyed by hermione using basilisk venom. The Slytherin locket:- It was not clearly mentioned whom he killed when he made it . Ron destroyed it using Gryffindor sword. The Ravenclaw diadem:-He created it when he took it from the albanian . It was destroyed using fiendfyre in the room of requirement. Nagini:- He made nagini horcrux by killing Bertha jorkins. Neville killed her using Gryffindor sword during the final war. Last was harry himself. He made him a horcrux accidentally ,when the killing curse rebounded. His soul was torn and it leeched on the only living alive, which was harry. It destroyed by tom firing the killing curse on Harry My biggest issue with Luke's bars were is that he's too focused on how large his war is, instead of dissing Harry. He's spends too much time comparing the two of them, when he could have been bringing up how badly Harry was treated by his aunt and uncle. I also disagree with Luke about Harry's skills, considering Harry taught a lot of his classmates Defense Against the Dark Arts, and he was teaching them pretty advanced stuff, and they all did pretty good in battle and stuff. Harry may not be the smartest, but his skills are pretty good.
@jeffp64263 жыл бұрын
No, quirrell was not a horcrux. Just a host to possess. Voldemort wanted to split his sole into 7 parts. Why would he intentionally create seven horcruxes to do that? That would leave him with an 8 part soul. Yes harry shared an unintended eighth piece but according to your list voldemort would have split his soul into 9. Plus when quirrell is killed, that piece of soul didn't die, re read the definition hermione gives of a horcrux. There were six intended horcruxes, to have a total of seven pieces of soul including voldemort himself. THAT "original" voldemort is what clung to life after the failed curse, then possessed quirrell, then eventually dies to harry. Calling quirrell a horcrux just for holding a part of voldemort s soul temporarily is wrong, as it throws off his desire for a seven part soul, AND is proven false by the fact that it didn't die when quirrell did.

@@jeffp6426 I just looked up a list of the horcruxes I didn't make it.
@jeffp64263 жыл бұрын
To recap, the horcruxes were the diary, ring, locket, cup, diadem, nagini, and (accidentally) harry. Voldemort didn't even have any power when he was using quirrell so how could he have cast the spell necessary to create a horcrux? According to rowling it's a very complex, powerful spell that requires "unthinkable acts" to perform. And you think he did that while relying on a failed DADA teacher to sip some unicorn blood just to be strong enough to materialize on the back of someone's head? Nah. Most theories seem to think creating the horcruxes involves cannibalism (seriously, look it up) so ain't no way voldemort in his weakest form was pulling that shit BEFORE he had a host body to use. Quirrell was never a horcrux.

About moisture farms. They live in a desert planet so water is going to be important resource. Moisture is water and you can collect it with the right equipment. It's like windtraps in Dune. Collect the small amounts of moisture available to get water

Moisture farm on a desert planet actually makes sense, because a moisture farm in a place that has regular rainfall makes no sense, and a moisture farm next to a river makes no sense, a moisture farm is made to extract what little moisture there is in the environment of the desert in order to have drinkable water to survive without being completely dependent on the trade routes of the other planets And the moisture is coming from underground, but not in an aquifer sense, in a "here's where the water is condensing" sense

In sci-fi, desert planets sometimes have an economy around collecting whatever moisture is out there in the air to sell to others. It's a big part of the Dune series, I think that's what Lucas was trying to copy for Luke's family but also had to change it so it wouldn't be too obvious, so moisture collectors becomes moisture 'farming'. But yeah, kind weird.

The 'suddenly taken under wing by funky wizard dude' *could* refer to Dumbledore, and he is the one in the shot, but I feel like it better refers to Hagrid, who actually removed him from the Muggle world. "Harry ends up marrying one of the Weasley sisters, I forget which one..." There is precisely one of them. Dude. Poppy Pomfrey is the healer at Hogwarts. "...so that refers to the Dementors..." The line is 'DEATH would EAT you up', and the DEATH EATERS, Voldemort's lackeys, are literally in the shot. For shame, sir. "...another unsung hero, c'mon, that boy was the MVP in that last movie..." No, what? That was Neville, Dudley Dursley is Harry's cousin. The Selena Gomez reference is a reference to Wizards of Waverly Place. It was a Disney sitcom that ran from 2007-2012. 'maclunkey' is Greedo's last words to Han Solo in the re-release of A New Hope, translated as 'this will be the end of you'. Most fans felt it was a pointless addition to the scene, and the word is now synonymous with a pointless addition to something that was fine as it was. Imperius *is* a curse, you got that right. Expelliarmus is the disarming charm; it's Harry's favoured spell, and the one he uses in the final duel against Voldemort.
