Ohh im going on a coach trip for 2 days to london andwe get the harry potter tour in the deal on the saturday then on the sunday we are going to madame tussauds! im so excited, we are hopefull going may 11th.

Being there was really amazing! Every Harry Potter fan should visit the tour. In Florida you may can go into the castle, but here in London you have the original set - much more fun! :D

went last weekend for my birthday, i got to open the doors to the great hall (im only 40, still young enough to get excited about things like that lol) Really enjoyed it, the best bit for me was the hogwarts model, that is amazing to see.

It was £32 that was June last year though, we spent about 2 1/2 hours but there is no time restrictions.

I don't get why everyone is saying it wasn't worth it! I'ma Potterhead, and I just went last week and it was amazing!!!!! You have to realize when you're going there though that it's not gonna be like the movies, you're seeing it behind the scenes. Personally I liked Wizarding World I'm Orlando better because that's where you actually feel like you're in the world, but this was still great.

The first part in the Cinema, and Great Hall has someone guiding you through. The rest is all open to walk through at your own pace!

Cici Que: the tour in America is just like a adventure park, the tour here in england is wear they filmed everything so you can see the sets on which they filmed harry potter x

Once your time is up you are usual straight into the waiting area, short cinema presentation and you are only guided through the hall (have about 10 minutes) then the rest you can take as much time as you like.

Nope! Filming/pictures are allowed everywhere on the tour except within the pre-show cinema and green screen areas.

No that room at the end is just before the gift shop and is decorated in the style of olivanders and every wand box has the name of someone who worked on any of the films

You can buy just about anything in the shop, just take plenty of money its not cheap!

Unless you have been on this tour, you don't really have the place to criticize. This tour is much more factual, accurate and interesting. Sure walking down a poorly made representation of Hogsmeade might be fun, but this shows you HOW things were made, the hard work that goes into the film and the fact that it has the original clothing, the orginial wands, sets, paper models, real models etc just makes it more amazing.. as well as being a hell of a lot cheaper to get in.

Unless this has changed recently they had no issue with this when we went. I wasn't sneaky which is obvious by the video. There were loads of guards around it was only the green screen area where they didn't want me to film.

The tour site says you can't take video, yet you clearly can. I'm wondering if I should take my video camera or you were being a bit sneaky? It was watching this that convinced me to book tickets as the stills just don't do it justice but will I be able to record video?

i've been twice, everything about this place is amazing. unfortunately the gift shop is very over-priced (it wouldn't seem so bad if they put the prices down a bit) but yeah you'll enjoy it whether you're a fan of the series or not
