I tried to listen to Malice on audio & because I speed up my audiobooks to match my reading speed, the narrator's British accent made it really hard for me to understand at 2x speed. 🤔 I wonder if it was just that narrator. I actually own a physical copy of a lot of the books I read on my kindle & I move the bookmark in the physical copy as I read on the kindle to see my progress 🤣 My kindle is just so convenient to run around with & I read SO much faster on it! Plus, I can lay in bed at night with my kindle & read without waking up the hubby! 🥰

And I will always read the last chapter physically because theres nothing more satisfying than shutting the book and knowing you're done! haha I have a newborn and she's still in the potato stage where she doesn't care if the light is on or not, but as soon as that ends I'm going to have to get the kindle back out because the nighttime is so much easier when you can read and feed. I love setting it to infinite scroll and I love the "time left in chapter". Challenge Accepted-- You don't know me, Kindle!

@@sheisbookedandbusy ahh have fun! I feel like Daughter of Smoke and Bone is only getting better (I'm on Book 3 rn), and Strange the Dreamer is easily in my top 10 books of all time. I have so far only read Wolfsong but it was SO GOOD. I rarely cry when reading, but that one made me bawl my eyes out multiple times. There's something incredibly nostalgic to TJ Klune's writing in that book, and half the time you forget you are reading a shifter romance 😂 also the relationship between Ox and Joe is so incredibly precious 🥺And yeah Kitt was so NOT it, I was hoping for her to fall for literally anyone else at points, because the man was not giving, what he should have been giving. Like when she said he tasted of tobacco I went 🤢is this supposed to make me feel all swoon-y? bc sure as hell does the opposite.

I love the prompts you’ve made for each character/ locations! Controversial opinion: I think you should remove the prompts when you’ve used it…that way you can do each prompt at least once (and we can start trying to guess what the next prompt will be as there is more room on the wheel). And I agree about A Fragile Enchantment…

I'm so glad you like them! I've actually thought about removing after I use...butttttt the wheel is actually kind of a pain in the butt to edit & add/remove from so I just save myself time & confusion by leaving it 🤣🤣 I don't mind a repeat prompt every once in a while (especially if it's a good one obviously 🤣), but I always give myself the "respin" option if the same one comes up in the same video. Fragile Enchantment was the most mehhhh book of all the blahhhh books.

What a mixed bag of reads this week but I’m so happy it ended on the higher end of the spectrum 😍 I definitely recommend picking up The Friend Zone before The Happy Ever After Playlist because it would spoil a plot point from TFZ, so you made a good call lol. I agree with you about Katherine Center’s book. They’re easy, enjoyable and so quick to get through. I would recommend How To Walk Away! That one is my favorite of her books so far😊 The way you really flew through DOSAB! I can’t wait to chat all about it ❤️💨

I felt you at the beginning of the video. I was reading To Bleed a Crystal Bloom and was loving it! But then Libby told me it was my turn for The Bone Ships and I immediately switched....worst decision ever. Got 40 pages in and felt myself falling into a massive slump. The only reading I've gotten done since is The Wolf Den series and only because it was an audio book. Slumps are the worst!

☁Has always a great video and oh man that wheel did some damage this time around. I have noticed Katherine Center's books would be a four star for me with her writing. I read How to Walk Away and enjoyed it a lot. Daughter of Smoke and Bone was a good book I just think I was expecting something else but I do plan on picking up Strange the Dreamer in November though. I definitely understand how some audiobooks can be a flip of a coin in enjoying and I didn't use to be a fan of them but since I have a toddler again I need all hands on deck in case of things happening. I will be re-reading Fourth Wing next month to check out the graphic audio book to see how well that is. Hoping for some happy reading and good books!!
