It's better than other online fps games in that it's never competitive and (mostly)never salty. You can conga taunt in the middle of 2fort and enemies and teammates will drop everything and join together.

Must be said, OMD2 was the better one. It made weapons more relevant, but you could still do a strong traps focus. Plus, you could use mods to change the balance. It also had all the OMD1 content, so that makes it doubly as good. The MOBA should have been OMD3 but with an online competitive tower defense mode, not a F2P microtransaction mess.
