I received it as a gift and I'm not going back to Gillete....As stated on your video, it's a fantastic shave and I think you nailed it when with the stiffer blade movement, which helps you get a closer shave without having to put as much pressure.

I too decided to go with Harry's over Dollar. I ordered the Winter Winston starter set, razor stand, travel bag, and extra blades versus signing up the monthly service today. Hopefully this will be better than spending the ridiculous cost for Gilette Mach 3 replacement blades.

I didn't buy the Kit but only got the Winston chrome handle razor with 4 extra blades at @ 28 bucks. Bottom line I got a really good close shave but I had to hold the razor flat to my face because as stated in other reviews the head is way too hard to bend. Also I will be keeping some of my Wilkerson disposables to get under my nose Good but not perfect is my opinion.

+AdoreMonet23 yes, and you will like it as well, simply because of the smooth ness. Especially get the butter shave cream as well.. I personally like the dollar shave club better, blades clean better and last longer.

Perhaps the dollar shave club is not the best either but when you take a good close look at Harry's they are too expensive if you wanted to choose them as a shaving system. Yes indeed I'd like to give them a go ,,, what ? ,,, $ 10.00 USD for a little plastic handle, the bloody blades are no good without it are they now !! Harry's shaving cream ,,, you're kidding right ? $ 12.00 USD for a seven ounce container ?? not a bloody chance. I use an excellent house brand shaving cream from my local drug store ,, 14 ounce container $ 3.29 Can. they feature this product on sale on a regular basis ,,, two containers $ 4.99. Also a good supply of Gillette blades cost me $ 12.99 Can. that keeps me well groomed for three months minimum ,,, so do the math folks.

Used dollar shave club for 3 months, don't buy. Their razers are NOT "high quality" dull within two shaves and I purchased the 5x just because I thought that the 2x would be shit quality.
