We think so because we are like this and our Larry community is like this but if you just go to Amazon prime post of "My policeman" with an edit from the film, you will see tons of hateful homophobic comments. Many of H's "fans" are not better either. They only see someone rich, successful and hot in him, they don't care what he really wants and who he is. I have already seen tons of cringey comments and tiktoks about how since now O is out of the picture, they all have a chance with him. And these people call us delulu( The moment he comes out, at least a half of his "fans" leave. It's maybe not that important to H himself but as long as he is under Sony, I don't think they will let him risk losing so much money (harries are weirdly proud of spending all of their money on merch and tickets for all his concerst).

I love everything you said about "Last night talking", Bishopsgate and the end of your comment. In fact I always love your comments. Nonetheless, I have another interpretation for the Lyrics in "As it was". For me: "Leave America" means that Harry is talking to himself (or Louis is talking to him, it's also possible) and he tells to himself to leave America (where is Olivia and the "stunt work") and that confirms the "Go home, get ahead, light-speed internet": I hear "Run Harry! as fast as possible, go home: go in England where is Louis! (and we know that Louis is "home" for Harry), "run away from this awful woman". And when I hear "2 kids follow her", I ask myself : who has 2 kids? Who brings them to Harry's show and uses them to confirm the reality of the stunt? Oleech. My hypothesis is that Harry has been shocked (as many of us) by the fact that she used her kids for the stunt, and we know how Harry loves (and respects) the kids. I think that the fact she used innocent kids for the stunt has horrified and frighten Harry (and she was not acting as the past stunt girls, she's really frightening in the way she lies, and use people for her fame and personal interests), so the verse "2 kids follow her" means to me the expression of that shock and necessity to run away, to not be involved in this use of children to confirm the stunt lie. And when he says "I don't wanna talk about who's doin' it first", Harry gives another hint, because it's typically an allusion of the stunts that Louis and himself had to accept, they probably suffered of that, and perhaps told each other: "you did first / No, you accepted first ...". So for me, these verses are speaking about O. but not in a good way at all, they are telling us what he has to endure, and how he would want run away from her if he only could. [And this night thanks God, we heard that the Stunt was over! It was Christmas in November! ] Other thought: "As it was" is an important song for Harry, he describes all his story with Louis from the beginning until today (and the end is a very happy liberation for Harry!). He wouldn't have accepted to write verses to confirm the stunt in this song which is a story of pains and a future freedom song . And how could the verses confirm the stunt when he litteraly says "leave America" (everyone knows that she lives in L.A. , her kids go to school in L.A. and DWD has been shot in America) and "go home light-speed internet": basically we can see Harry run as his life depended on it. 💚💙

But It's not Harry who makes the choice, he had to stunt with O.W. because he was involved in DWD, to draw the public attention on the movie and sell it to GP. His label and his management decideswith whom to make a stunt, what is the solution which will make the Label earn more money. It's just a question of money, not of affinities with someone. And if the GP knew who O.W. really is , they would understand that Harry would never have chosen to pretend to be in a relationship with this woman, because they have nothing in common, their moral values are completely opposite (IF she has moral values ...), the way they see and treat people, their goals in life ... Loves to date them , sleep with them and write songs about them. Just look at WMS and when he said it was about the female orgasm. They ignored where he said “but that’s not relevant, it’s not really about that.” I believe, and so do lots of people, that all his gfs have been beards, including Olivia. With his popularity at the moment he isn’t going to make an announcement that he is gay.

I think it's sad that because someone is in the public eye, and, in his case, A LOT, that they owe us an explanation for who they are... I think he's one of the kindest, most authentic, soul out there and he should be allowed to just be himself - whatever that means. This world is already so tough and sad at times, if you can find love, true love, whether it's with someone of the same sex or not, my god just go for it! There are moments where I questioned my sexuality, too, and there are people in my life who were always in my corner and when I was feeling insecure, I would always think of Harry and instantly I would feel like whatever it is, it's okay. I'm sorry, but it really makes me sad that he has to go through that when he's nothing but supportive to tons of fans that he doesn't even know on a personal level. Leave the man alone - he's too precious and I hope he knows that we too are in his corner. (L)

I love him from his early years. For me, he doesn't have to say anything. All his acts, performances, every concert when he raises that flag say it all. I hope one day we won’t have to identify with either extreme, ‘straight’ or ‘gay’, but allow people to be who they are, everything in between without prejudice….no more labels…I believe that’s Harry’s message. I don’t think he’s disguising or hiding anyone, he’s simply free to be himself and not have to label and package himself in any way. Thanks for this video. I really go with your analysis of his coding. I really don’t want to be rude but I have to speak my mind on this, too. I think we really should accept what Harry himself says about his sexuality. As you said in your video he says he is unlabelled. I never read or heard him say he is straight! But he also never said he is gay. Or bi. Or pan. Or whatever. As you said he outed himself many times …. as unlabelled and therefore queer. Why would we not respect a statement he himself made so clearly of his sexuality? Why would we still say he is in the closet and just not aloud to say? He is an adult. He is a global megastar. He has more money than he can spend. After 1D he would have never signed another contract that would not allow him to be who he really is and speak his mind freely (and as he was already a superstar coming out of 1D he surly had a lot of offers to sign). And above all he would never ever be such a massive hypocrite as to constantly tell his fans to be who they really are and than not be himself who he really is! This is my strong belief. It is truly just as beyond me as all the „fans“ still saying he is straight. And it’s just as rude. If we as the queer community can’t except him just the way he is and openly says he is, how can we expect his straight fans to accept him as queer and listen to his coding and what he says?!

I remember when the Beatles left clues on album covers, in lyrics, and deep track embedded sounds that Paul McCartney was dead. Of course it was not true, but it was clever, created a mystic and intrigued fans. Harry is very worldly and very attractive, to both sexes. If he's not gay, he certainly is a fantastic advocate and I don't fault him one bit for his efforts. If he is gay, one day our 28 year old golden boy, with any luck, will find the love of his life (and that mystery will be solved.) Either way, I'll still drool over him and enjoy his music.

I hate the fact that we even have to come out. I always feel like coming out as a concept is for the straight people (family members, friends, audience). Most of the time you don't have to come out to other queer people, we see it already. I hope someday sexuality won't be a big deal at all at some point in our society so the only reason to somehow state sexuality would be to find potential partners and wouldn't be relevant in any ither parts of our lives. But sadly, now and in the next few decades I can't see it being possible. It would be a big deal as long as we live in the system of oppression that we live in now. So the least we can do now is to appreciate others' "hairpin dropping" because love is only for the brave. We should celebrate it and not just tolerate it
