I don’t think I see the versatility. I’m terms of what he sings well, that’s probably just rnb and pop. He doesn’t really do a lot outside of that, and if he does it’s not as natural as when he does rnb, which he’s one of the best at. But Harry can sing a lot of different genres, while still having the most unique tone. So I’d give it to Harry.

Actually it was his lack of trying. Singers could sound good while doing drugs like Whitney Houston sounded great and she was doing things WAY before her career. He didn't care about his music after he turned 16 or 17. He puts no effort in his voice or music anymore. Illness didn't do anything some singers are still sick with problems and they still sing fine I mean not as great as back then but for sure they sound good.

But his voice is naturally so whiny I understand why people don't like his voice but say that but to act like he's not a damn good singer is something else. The fact that you’re insisting that Justin is a better vocalist makes it very clear that you’re lying about being in the field for decades because any true vocal expert would say otherwise. Neither of them are great but Harry is objectively a better vocalist. He has a much better lower register and, even though he doesn’t belt as high as Justin, he is able to support his lower belts. Meanwhile, Justin has a better controlled falsetto and has a more agile voice. Harry Styles is as good as Justin Bieber, if not better. And I’d argue that he’s better.

I'm an expert in vocal warm-ups. I know Harry very well. I also know Justin. Harry needs a lot of training in order to perform, and he does a vocal warm-up, unlike Justin, where he sings randomly without preparation and training, and here talent and voice control appear, especially since justen deals with a larger audience. However, he does not warm his voice because he has divine talent and does not continue to develop it. He also does not like to perform at parties due to psychological reasons and often performs. He can't do better than this. And his "talent and voice control" definitely do not appear when he performs. He uses autotuned mics, which is why people think he's singing on key all the time. And, honestly, the fact that you don't notice that he lacks support in any part of his range and, yet, you go on about how he has a lot of vocal ability, just shows that you're lying about being a vocal expert. Here because I'm one of those who had to double-take on Harry Styles. Not big on pop culture & was only vaguely aware of One Direction. For years, I'd hear Harry's early solo songs when forced to turn on the radio, and think, "Oh, that Bieber's gotten a lot better musically." Now, I'm basically one of the Hitties, or whatever. I don't hear as much of the pubescent cry in Harry's voice any more, just a pleasant smokiness. Whereas Bieber seems frozen in time. This video confirms for me that they sound so, so different. I'm a full blown harry stan but I'm gonna try to be unbias here. Both JB and Harry are very talented musicians who were both teen idols and since they've had their fair share amount of time in the limelight, this makes their stage presence undeniably calm. I think they both know what they're doing. However, harry excels in the lower range due to the fact that he is a baritone, yet both he and JB shine in falsetto. In terms of range and quality, Harry does have the more mature and bigger of the two. But both are very talented singers, with JB having strengths that Harry might lack, vice versa.

Harry is actually more of a low tenor. I used to think he was a baritone too but when you watch him over and over you start to notice that his low register isn't that of a baritone and he seems more comfortable in his mid range. His low notes do not have this power and weight that they should have if he was a baritone. I'm a baritone myself and my voice is much more comfortable and bigger around G#2s/A2 where Harry already struggles with projection and resonance. All in all, he's still a lower voiced singer than JB who sounds like a light lyric tenor.

Maybe i just haven't listened to enough of his music recently to know this, but I don't think Justin does sing that many different types of music. Mainly rnb and pop. And he's great at, don't get wrong, but it's not much. Harry mostly does different types of rock-influenced music, but recently he's switched up his vocal style to sing more rnb/funk-style music, with Fine Line and HH. I'd say his voice is more versatile, especially since he has more range. Yet it's still unique, whereas Justin's vocal tone is pretty common in the pop/rnb genre. All of those comparison are more subjective though. I think what's actually more relevant is technique, and I'll grant Justin that he is more agile, has a better falsetto and a bit better vocal control. Harry has better low, mid, and high belts. His vocals are more powerful, he's more emotive, and has more depth and dynamics to his voice. Justin hasn't really taken any risks with his vocals or pushed himself vocally, as of late. Harry's voice is constantly evolving and he's always playing with different vocal styles.

Here's the thing Harry has a darker voice that's what makes his low notes better than Justin's and Justin has a lighter voice since the beginning of his career which makes his voice naturally easier to hit higher notes with ease because of his light 'high' voice.

Yeah but that still can't change the fact that both of them are lies on lighter side of tenors. Both voices are considered naturally very bright and high for male standard at default, It just that harry relatively sounds darker in tone compared to Justin who has already very bright light voice himself. In classification, harry is most comfortably likened/tagged to chesty light (or perhaps just a regular tenor with very forward, edgy and strident approach which had add certain brightness to his timbre considerably) due to his fairly youthful that's ultimately sufficient to put him as one despite his darker fuller sound at times (some of the weight he display purely has to do with his rounded formant coupling, veristic style or solid chest coordination) while Justin is a high tenor which is the highest, sweetest (in timbre) form of tenor, so it make sense why would he still sound easily brighter than Harry's who already would be better describe as sound like a woman in her 50s belting/speaking at the top of her lungs. This comparison is very similar to pace's sisters where duranice (matured light soprano, although I can seee why some peeps try to assume she's just a reg soprano, but she just seems to have wonderful vocal/chest voice development which would had deceptively convince people to label her as simply just a mid soprano aside from her old age which would enchance automatic slight warmth and smokiness to the qualities imo. I mean whenever she bring her chest voice up there in belting mode, she just sound kinda morbidly girlish and bright asf not to mention the amounts of her ease that she can't be confused as nothing else other than decent example of light soprano. Regular soprano is ofc possible but it's essentially a stretch to get away with it blindly given that I've heard alot of light soprano generate same level depth at any notes within their chest voice even regardless of age and health condition (minus registration development in this case), especially at lower areas) would represent harry while lashun/young melonda represent Justin's direct feminine counterpart in this sort of situation. If there's even such terms like soubrette soprano (I read on some sites that refer 'spieltenor' as the parallel equation to soubrette sopramo but any more valid reliable and informational data related to it is vaguely defined and not as commonly nagging about at the center of public), then that would fit Justin bieber the most likely really. Incredibly light, magnetically boyish, crisply agile and most importantly, very high tessitura (akin to mid/high mezzo and even some sopranos tessitura wise). Notice how similar they both sound when compare their voices from side to side, it just lashun still had ever slightly delicate texture and extra natural brightness in scale while anice sounds quite more timid, cavernous and lush.
