'Harry was so, so wrong in his book'. I saw that Charles was as loving to those boys as Diana

Prince Harry was "so wrong" to say that King Charles was never made for single parenthood, a royal expert has claimed.
In his controversial memoir Spare, which was released in January last year, the Duke of Sussex, 39, sent shock waves across the nation when he criticised King Charles over intimacy and communication issues growing up.
Speaking of his father following the tragic passing of the late Princess Diana, Harry penned: "He’d always given an air of not being quite ready for parenthood: the responsibilities, the patience, the time.
"Even he, though a proud man, would have admitted as much.
"But single-parenthood? Pa was never made for that. To be fair, he tried."
However, speaking to royal editor Matt Wilkinson for The Sun's show Royal Exclusive, royal reporter Charles Rae says that Harry was "so wrong" to paint such a picture of his father.

Oh yes, books written by aides, etc about Harry and William's growing up years account that Charles was affectionate and loving to his children. These just were not captured on camera unlike Dians's shows of affection for her children which Diana always made sure was captured on camera by the media. Harry himself has said and admitted in interviews pre Meghan that his father was affectionate and that he loved his brother and they were very supportive. And then all of a sudden, after Meghan, William is his arch enemy and Charles is a cold and emotionally distant father?!?!

There are all kinds of ways of showing love and affection and it’s not just with hugging, or words, both of which can be very superficial. Wasn’t Jesus himself betrayed by a kiss from Judas? There are many examples like that through history. Meghan’s hugs and words for instance are superficial. Love is an action and Charles plainly loved and still loves both his sons. Maybe one day Harry will grow up to be mature enough to see that love is an action, and his actions have betrayed him.
