I liked Prince Phillip that was there for the Queen, Elizabeth II. who I admired very much since I read how much her duties was to stand her ground and stay during the war while the Germans bombing of London but stayed to support for the UK public and realized that Elizabeth as a princess would not leave London as a teen but stay to show she as a Royal will not abandon her post in life. I was so proud when I read, she dedicated her life to help by driving a jeep to destinations for the Red Cross by providing medical supplies wherever they needed her. That is dedication even before she became Queen. What a wonderful human being. I tear up knowing how much she loved her country. Even if I am a USA Citizen, I admire the Queen and respect her always as well as King Charles.

The sadness of the Queen just broke my heart, my parents had been married over 73 years, they had married after WWII when my dad came home from the Navy and they married. I knew that he had mailed her an engagement ring but I never asked him where he bought it. He was stationed in the South Pacific. They are both gone now, dad died first and they still held hands in their 90’s. I could see the Queen and her beloved doing that too. Their generation were a very special group of people and they all were incredibly brave and I hate to think what the world would be like if they hadn’t done what they did. My parents were happy with simple things and being together. They knew how many lost that chance to grow old together. I don’t think today’s young people would do what The Greatest Generation did.

The origins of the English monarchy began with the Anglo-Saxon settlement of Britain by Germanic settlers from mainland Europe in the 5th and 6th centuries. The settlers were not ethnically related to the original indigenous people of the British Islands, i.e. the Celtic. Cornish and Welsh tribes. The so-called current English royals are descendants of European royalty, most notably the German Hanoverians, who were also related to the Russian Romanovs, the last royals in pre-revolutionary Russia. In 1917, George V changed their surname from Saxe-Coburg-Gotha to Windsor to make it sound English. Britons regard this so Britishness is about as bizarre as one could possibly imagine. It is also bizarre that some British people continue to OBSESSIVELY FAWN over the current representatives of this old institution which has a VERY EVIL HISTORY and a PRISON - LIKE LIFESTYLE.
@John-nc4bl8 ай бұрын
A Cult of Personality arises when an individual uses mass media, propaganda, or other methods to create an idealized, and at times, a ' god-like or a goddess-like ' public image, Unquestioning Flattery and Praise. ( Charles, his deceased mother Elizabeth, William, Anne, Kate, Camilla including the other representatives) They represent an old cult-like institution with a very bad history and the following words would apply to it. Racist, Incest, Adultery, Immorality, Tyranny, Brutality, Genocide, Slavery, Theft, Dysfunctional, Aloof, Extremely Secretive, Irrelevant, Suffocating Formality, Abnormal and a Prison - Like Lifestyle. Edward's and Simpson's allegiance to Hitler. Andrew / Epstein and Charles / Jimmy Savile. Diana's arranged / forced marriage to Charles and his horrible treatment of her. Philip and his affairs, Anne divorced, Andrew divorced, Charles divorced, Henry VIII divorced two of his wives and the other two were BEHEADED-! Hanged, Drawn and Quartered The "drawing" part actually comes first and it involves the convict being tied to a type of sled that's "drawn" or dragged behind a horse all the way from the prison to the gallows. Then he was hung by a rope tied from the gallows and around his neck. After a few terrifying minutes of near-asphyxiation, the rope was cut and the man fell down. Then his penis and testicles were cut off, his bowels were pulled out, his heart was cut out and all were burned before him in a roaring fire. Next, his abdomen was slit open from groin to sternum. His head was severed from his body and his body cut into four quarters to be disposed of at the king's pleasure. The body parts were then taken on a publicity tour and distributed to the surrounding towns as a warning to those who would challenge the authority of the king. One of the main reasons for doing all of this was to demonstrate the absolute power of the monarchy. Burning at the Stake was another awful way to be killed. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Characteristics of a cult. The group displays excessively zealous and unquestioning commitment to its leader, ( Charles ) Questioning, doubt, and dissent are discouraged. The leadership dictates, sometimes in great detail, how members should think, act and feel. The group is elitist, claiming a special, exalted status for itself, its leader and members, ( Charles and the other representatives ) The group has a polarized us-versus-them mentality, which may cause conflict with the wider society. The leader is extremely protected and does not give interviews. ( Charles ) The leader is not held accountable to any authority. ( Charles ) Unquestioning adulation is expected from the followers. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ( Check out cult leader Jim Jones who was the leader of the Peoples Temple and cult leader David Koresh who was the leader of the Branch Davidians ) DO NOT FOLLOW CULTS ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Not much wonder as to why Harry and Meghan Preferred to have their Freedom from such an Abnormal and a Prison-Like Lifestyle. Kate may have decided to have her FREEDOM as well.

@@christiner302 A Cult of Personality arises when an individual uses mass media, propaganda, or other methods to create an idealized, and at times, a ' god-like or a goddess-like ' public image, through Unquestioning Flattery and Praise. Henry VIII divorced two of his wives and the other two were BEHEADED-! Henry VIII was responsible for thousands of deaths. @@christiner302 The origins of the English monarchy began with the Anglo-Saxon settlement of Britain by Germanic settlers from mainland Europe in the 5th and 6th centuries.

Prince Philip was an absolutely amazing man. After his passing, I watched a documentary about him. He had so many wonderful projects, we really only knew about DoE. He held so many naval titles/awards, turned the Sandringham estate around, created many inventions to make the royal life easier, was a talented coach driver (a gift and love he shared with Lady Louise), ... the list is long. But his biggest committment was to his wife; he always had her back, despite the men in grey suits who tried to rule the late queen.

He was also mentioned in dispatches for his actions in battle of Cape matapan during world war ii. In 1939 he passed from Dartmouth navel college top of his class. His good grades weren't because of his royal status, because king George VI himself passed in bottom of his class. At one point Prince philip was top 10 polo player in the world. And in 80's king charles was also one of top 10 polo player in the world. Not mention who prince philip planned restoration of windsor castle after it was heavily damaged during fire in 1992. Much to my surprise, Prince Philip noticed this and crouched down and spoke cheerfully to the children as the Queen was already walking off. I didn't see the Queen smile once during the whole occasion. She was quite formal in those days and rarely returned a smile whilst greeting people. She mellowed considerably during her latter years.
