We have been spending each NYE in South Goa and stayed mostly in the beach-front huts since 2014. This is the first time we are staying on the opposite side of Agonda road. Eventhough we can afford, we refuse to get fleeced anymore by those overpriced but low quality shacks/huts. What's worse is that the business owners are still trying to loot the few customers coming their way. This could be our last Goa trip for a long while. Just not worth anymore. Btw we savoured the fish thalis at your restaurant. Always a pleasure to meet you!

सर मैं गोवा में 10 दिन था 20 दिसंबर से 31 तक और पलोलेम से आर्मबॉल तक विजिट किया बस एक ही बात समझ आई की आप यहा के लोगो से जब तक लुटावटे रहिए तब तक आप अच्छे है जहा आपने अपने आप को लुटवाना बंद किया ये आपसे मिस बिहैव करने लगेंगे, मैं फाउंटेनहास कॉलोनी में गया था यहा के लोगो का इतना गन्दा बिहेवियर था जैसे वो चाहते ही नही की टूरिस्ट यहा आए, मेरा इंडियन पीपल से यही अपील है कि वो गोवा जाए ही नही उससे अच्छा है केरला , अंडमान, थाईलैंड, इंडोनेशिया, वियतनाम जाए ये गोवा से लाख गुना अच्छा है और यह लोग भी लुटियंस nhi है गोवा के लोगो की तरह।

I used to go to Goa every year. Lucky not to have had bad experiences as such. But there was always the attitude lena hai to lo warna bhaad mai jao. That extended to hotels, the scooty rental guy, etc. Its good that people are finding other destinations. Its an economy which runs on tourism maybe they discover other sources gradually.
