The person who refused to shake hands was wrong, because Islam does not teach us this, Rather, our religion teaches us that whoever treats you with love and respects your religion, you should treat him well, and you should also treat him with love. Displaying acts of kindness is a fundamental aspect of our religion. Islam encourages kindness and compassion towards everyone, no matter, one’s religion, status or color. There is an emphasis in the Quran to be kind to one’s parents and orphans. In addition to performing our daily salah, being a true Muslim involves making a concerted effort to follow the actions of our Prophet (saw) in our daily lives. The Prophet (saw) said: “Every act of kindness is charity.” Sahih Al Bukhari: 6021 maybe he felt that the way the Americans have treated these people, so he thought that maybe you are also among them. But he shouldn't have thought that, he thought it wrong. So Harry brother I will request you to ignore this and not take it seriously at all, Everywhere you meet all kinds of people, sometimes right and sometimes wrong, everyone's way of thinking and understanding is different, You always keep making such good content and spreading love and my prayers are always with you 🤝 ❤ love from India 🇮🇳

@@joehatten9171 Always hilarious to see a comment by people that think only those that went outside the wire were in harms way. Those mortars being lobbed down on the base from the mountains are every bit as deadly. I was Air Force attached to an Army unit (82nd for half the deployment and 101st when they swapped out), when those outside the wire got into a bad situation, it was us "fobbits" sitting behind a desk that got them the air support they needed so they could get back to base safe. Although Air Force, I was attached to the Army that believes "Everyone is a soldier first," and did have to go outside the wire with them a few times. At the end of the day, regardless of what uniform you put on or what job you had, we all lined up side by side on the side of the road and saluted those flag draped coffins, as those that made the ultimate sacrifice began their final journey home.

Any negative experience you may have faced there, do not judge as this nation has been going through constant death and destruction since 45+ years and the world powers are directly responsible for it, to see people still in such spirit despite all that is a miracle in itself. Afghans are very hospitable and it is completely irrelevant as to who you are, where you are from and what you practice, the hospitality extends to everyone and anyone at all times. God bless❤
