I love your vblogs Harry as always. They're raw and as always love your story telling. I am a Filipino, but it is embarrassing to see some vendors like this one, kinda pushy when they see a foreigner and telling people to get ice cream and since you are the one paying...why did you agree with that Harry? lol. But not all vendors are like that though like the lady whom you helped last time and the barber. Those people are deserving of help and not this one. I know life is hard but what he is doing is annoying and taking advantage of your kindness and generosity. But I am impressed with your patience and humility Harry, you are just being chill and relax. But it's also good that you and Ali are met with lovely young people who shared their meal with you and Ali.

I've visited Sta. Monica, CA before. You're right, US and European beaches are very different from Tropical ones. That's why westerners love the beaches in Asia. And Philippines have some of the best ones. :)

I'm not being biased but it is true... there are plenty more gorgeous pristine beaches out there, gorgeous landscapes, volcanoes, hills, rice terraces, local specialties, tropical fruits, and of course wonderful people yet to be explored. It will certainly blow your mind as to how varied the Philippines experience is. There's Batanes, where you will think you've gone to New Zealand, there's Vigan, where you'd think you've traveled back in time of the Spanish era, there's Boracay, possibly the best sunset you'll witness on the beach, with sand so white and soft that you literally have to wear your sunglasses when the sun is out. When you get there, make sure to try the Halo Mango. Palawan has those limestone cliffs that were there since the time of the dinosaurs and it will certainly remind you of the movie Avatar.Fun fact. The author of THE BEACH lived in the Philippines for 6 months and was inspired by Palawan thus wrote the book. He set it in Thailand as it is more well known therefore more relatable to the readers.... The slogan is true...it is more fun in the Philippines but it will even be more than that with you. Enjoy the rest of your trip! Looking forward to your next vlogs!

Try lechon manok, there are booth stores selling that. The most famous are Andok's and Baliwag. Don't forget the gravy! We also have one that is already falvoed with gravy and that is Chooks to Go.
