Fall Out Boy is the band that got me into music, and im not over exaggerating when i say they're my favorite band. Fall Out Boy has gotten me into so many other bands, and I really would not be as big into music as I am, and probably wouldnt even have found out about your channel, if it wasnt for them. The first song i had ever heard from them was dance, dance on guitar hero warriors of rock, and man did i play the hell out of that song on drums. I played it everyday, and loved the the drum beat so much, that song got me to listen to their other music, and right away i was hooked. For that reason, im gonna have to say that dance, dance is my favorite Fall Out Boy drum moment, and even my favorite song, ever. Im suprised you didnt bring the song up! Its such a catchy tune, and really fits its name. As someone who has seen Fall Out Boy live twice, I can also say that when they play the song live, everyone knows what's up. The transition from the drum solo to the song is always insane too, and goes to show how awesome of a drummer andy truly is, dude.

My favorite Andy Hurley moment was seeing them live at their ABAP release show in Chicago. I camped out with a buddy from 4AM the night before to get front row. During the show, we would look at Andy and start air drumming with him (being musicians we were matching his drumming and he could tell) he would give us this smile every time he saw us and you could tell he was thrilled that his playing was inspiring other musicians in the crowd! I'll never forget that because he didn't just look at us once. It happened a bunch that night. In fact it he recognized it so much that at the end of their set he looked at us and threw a drum stick directly in our direction. Andy is such a nice guy and a killer drummer!

I don't think I could even begin to pick a favorite Andy Dudely moment. His ability to flex to meet the amazingly varied styles FOB puts out- from the punk energy on "Our Lawyer Made Us Change The Name Of This Song So We Wouldn't Get Sued" to the more subdued stuff like "What A Catch, Donnie"... His playing compliments it all.

Well. I was a jock in high school. Football and wrestling. I always wanted to play the drums, but in 1980ish, you couldn't do both. After that, I still wanted to learn, but kept kicking tge can diwn the road. Too noisy. Too expensive. Not enough time. A couple of years ago, my boys were into fall out boy. One was 9, the other was 12. So I bought tickets to the show in Cincinnati. I hadnt really paid attention to the music. But it was watching Andy play that I decided to stop kicking the can, and at 52 picked up my first pair. The only condition from my wife was I had to go electronic. 3 years later, still playing and learning.

Dude! I love Andy and fob! they were the first band I really started to like when I was younger. I'm still pretty young, 15, but I remember listening to them all the time. I'd go out in the backyard and practice playing soccer against a wall while listening too them, but it was always more about listening to them rather than the soccer. I've always loved there older stuff, and there new stuff is good too, but it's not the same as there older stuff. My favorite song is probably dance dance. The drums in the beginning are so simple buts it still sounds great. The bass comes in and the song really takes off and makes you feel good. It's really a great song. Glad you got the chance to meet him!

My favourite Andy drumming moment is all of "Tell That Mick...", my favourite song off my favourite album of all time. It has so much energy and sets up the tone of the album so well, and that ride/bell pattern in the second verse isn't extraordinarily difficult by any means but it just adds a different dynamic to the part. Not to mention the snare pattern in the first pre-chorus haunted me for so long when I first started learning to play.

Favorite memory: When i saw FOB in 2003 at Knights of Columbus (some place like that on Hallowe'en) where they played and sung TTTYG. The passion and engery was amazing. Mick and Pros means the world to me and watching and hearing um sing... holy fucking shit. Got some pictures and meet them afterwards. Also seen them in 2001 (maybe early 2002. Town next too me: Carbondale. I was 12. Now im 29) before they was going by FOB. Dude, they still have the same passion and engery nowdays. Humble never left um after everything that has happened. Haven't seen um in concert since 2005 (couldn't afford too, hopefully i can scrape up some money for Mania later on in the year). But, to watch FOB grow from little gigs (maybe 50 people) to UTCT (2005ish concert) was amazing and surreal. I never been more proud of um. Still proud and amazed! I'm rambling.. uh hi XD I'd love some Andy sticks :)

I’ve seen fall out boy perform probably 4+ times, Andy’s drumming has always been great every time and his drum solos are always really cool, my favorite moment being when he used to open his solo from one of the tours a few year back with the slayer raining blood intro, because before really digging into a lot of different things, Metallica and slayer and those kinda of bands really got me into listening and playing music, and to see him throwing that intro into his drum solo with the flamethrowers and all on stage, gave me the chills, it was such a cool moment for me!

I honestly can't pick a single song as my favorite Andy Hurley drum moment, they're all just so tight and tie the whole song into an instantly recognizable FOB song.
