"Szeth-son-Honor, Radiant of Roshar, wore white on the day he was to kill a god." Damn, don't give BranSan ideas man, the madman will do it!

Szeth is by far the most anime character in the SA. He’s so damn edgy, yet he somehow makes it seem so genuine.

Love Szeth....such a great character
@longshot97572 жыл бұрын
Szeth could very well be the champion Dalinar chooses in his Contest of Champions. After all, he is trained in _ever single Surge_ with the Honorblades. With your theory concerning them, it only makes sense that he would wield all 10 Surges in opposition to Odium.
@cyruspalmer98 Жыл бұрын
Zero chance of that. Dalinar said he himself is the only one he could ask to fight.

I would love the line to be, ended with "... On the day he was to choose." Or "... On the day he chose to kill a god."

Yo, that line at the end of a possible opening for Szeth gave me goosebumps
@mikahkilgore49722 жыл бұрын
This is awesome! Szeth is definitely in my top 3 characters, and you pointed out a lot of the things that draw me to him as a character. I’m a little surprised that you didn’t touch on the moment in Rhythm of War when he kills Taravangian. He has a line there saying that he’s finally making his own choice at that moment. It was both terrifying and powerful, which seems to be a consistent thing with Szeth. This was a great video, and I also can’t wait to see how Szeth’s arc continues in the next book

Thanks, glad you enjoyed! I did want to mention that RoW moment but frankly the video was getting really long 😂

Honestly very interested in where Szeth story goes because we would have him become his own person and get into his character. Plus have a redemption for what he has done and move pass his past

Only problem with that line is that would be nightbloods kill, night blood is more alive then most people after being invested by the breath of 1000 people. I honestly think night blood will be more sentient in book 5 after sucking up some of odiums power. Would like it if we got a number but it’s the first time night blood has ever been satisfied
@grantstratton22395 ай бұрын
Well we might get a number in Era 3. Our first Era 3 novel is Sunlit Man, and in it we are introduced to BEUs, or Breath Equivalent Units. Nomad's spren has the power to estimate the number of BEUs and the approximate percentage to full Nomad is throughout, as well as the relative investiture level of other people and invested objects, which is at the very least an interesting development. We also learn in that novel that Nomad's maximum capacity for investiture is far higher than what we are lead to believe Nightblood's original investiture was. That being said, we don't know a lot about Nightblood's mechanics. When it kills someone, does it strip them of investiture? When someone draws him, how much does it drain? Does that investiture remain in Nightblood or does it use it up somehow? A lot of unanswered questions around one of the Cosmere's most powerful artifacts.
