That was a great game, had me on the edge of my seat the whole time! Spoiler: --- -- - What hurts me the most is at 37:38 Harstem splits off one of the Locust to go after the Stalker because one Locust is already enough to deal with the probe, but then a second later he changed the order and makes the 2nd Locust come back to land on the probe too.

I feel bad because now every time Harstem eats his second favorite fruit it will taste like it's missing a mineral.

Seems to me some of these limited unit games make for the most intense gameplay. Perhaps one of your mod/challanges could be a endgame limited units scenario. No mining, use what you're given.

Everything about this video is great, but I may have watched the point at 37:41 - where PiG savors Harstem's soul exploding - about 500 times. Trace of a smirk. Slight tilt to the head. Eyebrows arch. Then pure, exultant glee.

This came up on my um. Oh what's that thing called. My KZbin recommendations list. From a year ago!? Dang. And I didn't notice, so I watched it. My gosh, what an epic game. When a Grand Master level game, involving many thousands of crystal can turn on 1 crystal... 1 probe.. 1 stalker.. StarCraft II is just not going to be an easy game for any game to rival. We all thought swarm hosts were just bad, and bad idea to boot, and yet here this example is, of how they can make for absolutely epic play. (Now, granted, this must have been some kind of challenge game? Except he wasn't actually forced to use SH? He chose them! And they almost worked.)

14:25 there when the DTs were killing the locust , harstem had an overseer just a little bit off to the bottom right of the screen... not even a full screen away.,.. if he just moved it a bit towards the DTs, the locusts wouldve been able to kill the DTs right after finishing the nexus ... and at that point really, whats boanaan army without those dts?? a couple stalkers?

Pretty sure Harstem technically lost by the point he built the vipers and overseeers instead of building another base. How are you ever gonna kill a mining player who's not wildly misplaying while all that you lose will never come back?

Swarm hosts make free units though, so there's technically unlimited value you can get from them

@@PiGstarcraft That's true, but i feel like in most of those cheesy, gritty games i played with super low ecos, the player who was mining could usually hold on long enough to just outlast the opponent. Although harstem had all the tools here to win, the number of times that last stalker survived within one shot of dying was insane.

they're nowhere near the problem they were in HOTS. They can only have locusts active about 40% of the time so it's nothing like the constant waves of utter BS they were in HOTS
