I was so confused as to why Harstem was being so nitpicky and later I was impressed he was able to kite. Overall, I'm still shocked it's GM. I think you may be a little too used to playing against xeyid, and tried applying strats for playing against xeyid, as they’re a quite popular scion custom races player. Maybe even tried to apply some keiron stuff to Protoss, as iirc that’s their main scion race

It depends what season he's referring to. Last season, season 55, you had to get above 5k for every region to be GM. But 3 seasons ago, season 53, you only needed 4800 to be GM in Europe, but you still needed 5k to be GM in NA. But I guess @skipperg4436 didn't know that ;)

Basically, yeah partly cause its NA and there's way less players on NA with 5k+ MMR (compared to EU which is the most competitive server these days) so the GM league is a lot less competitive but also its largely because its the start of a new season and by the end of the season the requirement for GM will be considerably higher.
